FLASHBACK TO DAMON’S LIFE IN 1970s NEW YORK / THE BAND DEAD SARA PERFORMS — Realizing that Elena needs some time away from Mystic Falls, Damon takes her to New York City, where he lived and partied hard in the 1970s. When Rebekah also shows up in New York, she’s impressed with Elena’s secret agenda. Flashbacks reveal Damon’s hedonistic life in the underground club scene and a complicated encounter with Lexi. Meanwhile, Caroline and Stefan try to convince Klaus that it would be in his own best interest to help them track Silas down, and Bonnie struggles to keep her grasp on reality and do the right thing.

Ermm...after not watching all season, and coming back to this show...I'm not going to lie, I definitely was confused with some of the things going on, and it seems that while it's good that some things are going on (I mean, hello, it can't always be about miss Elena all the time every second of the day...even though we really know that is the case) it seems not very interesting to carry out a season...this season mainly seems to be about Elena's transition as a vampire. Now they want to cop-out of it with this cure BS...which to me either says that they're going to cure Elena + 1 vampire, or just vampires and not Elena. You can sure bet that one of these Salvatore brothers will be cured...could very well be Damon lol, and not Elena getting the cure. I can see them doing that because the writers hate DE, and then it would give them the chance to give the SE fans vamp Elena with Damon...blah freaking blah. Who knows, the final nail in the coffin could even be to give Katherine the cure so she can be with Damon LOLOL. Okay, that's going to far...but everything else I'm pretty serious about lol.

Yeah...basically just a shipper show, not interested. Not a horrible episode...oh right, after typing out horrible I got reminded of that horror known as Lexie/Damon...never, never again. Talk about being BEYOND a crack ship. EW. JUST EW.

Still no Silas original face. He/it/she is still sporting Shane's countenance, so no problem with that at all. He does have a bit of an Irish Islander look about him and it makes me think of other supernatural creatures that could make an appearance on the show.

Bonnie and the dark side with Silas, oh she is so evil, but after the massacre, she has no recollection of her evil self.

Caroline has taken a teeny tiny step over (emotionally small anyways) the dark side line. Klaus has brought back his bad self as well just when she needed him to give her a bloody hug. And I was just starting to like him, now with this resurgence, forget about it. This makes me think that when they do finally connect it is going to be overwhelmingly good.

They are talking about bringing Jeremey back from the dead. There is still hope for him to return even though he is crispy critter/fritter right now.

I don't even think Damon likes Elena without her humanity anymore. I sure don't like this Elena either.

+++ episode last night. Pretty good and so pushing the storyline along nicely

I thought the confrontation between Klaus and Silas was amazing.

Klaus/Caro/Stefan teaming up,**** yes.

I can't believe Damon has no plan B. It is not like him to forget about Rebekah...

It would certainly be a huge thing that would make Elena switch her humanity on again certainly,but I'm not getting my hopes too high on that front...

I think the episode was better than the last one but not that great.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Elena & Rebekah working together. I think their interactions were the best thing about the episode.

I'm glad the Damon/Lexie thing wasn't real. It was just so weird.

Poor Bonnie she doesn't remember Jeremy is dead

But I'm not surprised she lost her memory. When she was having sessions with Shane she also didn't remember what happened in the last few hours.

I love Elena's new look!

Wow, Lexie was just another one of Damon's conquests.

Because a woman can't detest Damon unless he's given her a personal reason - being a **** obviously isn't enough.

I'm just waving the flag now, I hate Damon because he's detestable. I'd rather drink acid than talk to him. But this show is determinded to show him as a sexually charged puppy.

Okay question, elena was sired to Damon therefor couldn't drink blood from a blood bag cause he said. Damon actually didnt tell elena personally she had to feed straight from the vein. Damon told Stefan so in order for the sire bond to work doesn't Damon need to tell elena to her face?? I'm confused

I loved the Stefan/Damon scenes. Actually liked Elena's hair, just not Elena.

If I remember correctly Damon told Stefan Elena had to drink from the vein while Elena was in the room.

Yep he did. He protested when Stefan told her to try drink from the blood bag.

I wonder what Bonnie will do now she got back to herself. Poor bb,she doesn't remember her boyfriend died and that she helped Silas all along

The same one who killed Jeremy.
