TVD Episode 4x11: Catch Me If You Can Discussion. Airs January 24th

McQueen) is furious when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tries to control him by putting Matt’s (Zach Roerig) life in danger. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) coaches Jeremy as he prepares to take on Klaus’ new vampires, but they find that Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) has beaten them to it. Kol makes it clear that he will stop at nothing to convince everyone to give up the search for the cure. Looking for a new ally, Rebekah (Claire Holt) reminds Stefan (Paul Wesley) that they were once close friends. When Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) and Mayor Hopkins (guest star Rick Worthy) question Shane (guest star David Alpay) about his involvement in the Founders’ Council deaths, Bonnie (Kat Graham) steps in with questions of her own, and Shane’s responses push Bonnie to the edge of her powers. Elena (Nina Dobrev) negotiates with Klaus to keep Jeremy safe, but when danger suddenly appears from a totally unexpected enemy, Elena comes up with her own daring plan for Jeremy. Loved the look on Elena's face when she realized that Stefan was no longer gonna be her whipped little puppy. Becks was so spot on with her comment at the beginning of the eppie.
I love me some professor Shane. I don't care if he's probably a nutjob. I missed Caroline. |
Kat Graham was amazing in this episode! And she looked so beautiful, like a young Janet Jackson. I do wonder if there's anyone else that can talk her down when the power gets overwhelming aside for Shane.
The whole Damon being compelled to kill Jeremy reminds me of when Klaus compelled Stefan to kill Elena. They both fought hard to stop the compulsion, they were both willing to stake or having themselves be killed rather than kill the person and they both failed in the end to actually overcome the compulsion. I don't think their inability to resist the compulsion is indicative the amount of love or will they have. Damon being the basement reminded me of the beginning of 1x05 - You're Undead to Me when Stefan was going to keep him in there to desiccate. I can't imagine they'll actually keep him in there for more than an episode. Also, I was glad that Damon was able to realize he was compelled by Kol pretty quickly. I thought the show was about to get soap-y. I enjoyed Jeremy having more of a focus. Vampire sex! That's all I got. Oh and Matt! Don't bite Matt. :no: |

Loved all the Bonnie stuff, wonder how far they're willing to go with Bonnie losing control of all this power. and Kat did an amazing job during that scene especially when she shades the tear. Stefan/Rebekah was awesome as well I've been waiting for this:D |
Kat Graham was definitely the best in this episode. I loved all her scenes and I'm glad Bonnie is finally getting her own storylines. Also I was happy she didn't believe Shane's bull**** and got very angry when Shane tried to use his grams to manipulate her. Shane is very crazy and I think he's one of the most interesting humans the show ever had.
Bonnie's dad has been a great addition so far. I like him a lot more than Abby. I love Kol :love: I could hear him talking all day. I hope nobody succeeds in killing him :nono: And I'm sure he's going to end up being right about Silas. I think it was great that Stefan got really affected by DE. I loved his dynamic with Rebekah whether it's romantic or not. I'm glad Rebekah knows Stefan will never get over Elena and realizes it's better if they just have sex with no attachments. I hope Rebekah doesn't get hurt again. And I was really happy that she told Klaus to go the hell. He deserved it. And Klaus was really good in this episode. It reminded me why I loved him so much in S3. |

That's about it :lol: ETA: The sex scene for Stebekah was way to short :pout: Their chemistry is pretty effing potent.. I wish they had of stuck on them abit longer. They could have blessed us with more shirtless Stefan in that scene aswell... come on, dudes, Paul is gorgeous.. give us some skin :P:lol: |

I loved the Stebekah scenes :love: I became a shipper of them since last night. I ship them even if I kind of have uneasy feelings about Stefan. Maybe he can finally have sizzling chemistry with Rebekah. Stathering in Season 2 disappointed me. It was like Katherine didn't try hard enough to make him interesting to my eyes. I am not bashing(which I do on Stefan sometimes, especially when he thinks he is better than Damon) I just want Stefan to be removed of Elena and expand his character and let him be bad when he wants to and not be forced by Klaus.
I loved Delena :love::love::love: Too bad Elena 'couldn't' be with him in that locked up room:pout: It was nice to see Damon's genuine caring for Jeremy. The whole Bonnie, Shane, and her dad scenes were tense. Where was Tyler and Caroline??:look: I wonder if Kol can be worse than Klaus. Damon and Klaus were hot in this episode:sigh: It was great to see Rebekah telling Klaus off even when he kind of saved her from Kol. |
