TVD Episode 4x10: After School Special Discussion. Airs January 17th
 REBEKAH IS BACK WITH A VENGEANCE — Appearing unexpectedly at Mystic Falls High, Rebekah wastes no time trying to force Stefan, Elena and Caroline to answer her questions about the search for a cure, leading to a bombshell piece of information from Elena. When Bonnie’s father, Rudy Owens (guest star Rick Worthy, “Supernatural”), accepts the role of Interim Mayor, he makes it a priority to protect his daughter, who isn’t at all comfortable with the role he suddenly wants to play in her life. Professor Shane continues to encourage Bonnie to believe in her powers, but he soon finds himself in danger when he reveals too much to the wrong person. Later, Caroline does her best to comfort Tyler after a violent confrontation. Meanwhile, at the lake house, Damon and Matt train Jeremy, trying to raise his game as a hunter, but Klaus is impatient with their progress and intervenes to speed up the process. Damn, I was rooting for Tyler to bite that annoying drip Elena. Since Jeremy won't stake her (and Damon), that would've been the next best thing.
I'm looking forward to Stefan/Rebekah teaming up. Come back Elijah! __________________

I loved the episode. Rebekah came back with a vengeance. My only complaint was that there was no scenes between Rebekh and April. There was no hint of their friendship at all. Hope we see them interact in the future.
April's scene at the end with the new mayor and the sheriff was interesting. Felt sorry for Stefan when Elena admitted to loving Damon. The complusion scenes with Elena, Caroline, Tyler, and Stefan. BTW is there an April thead? If not, would anyone mind if I started one? Mayber I am looking more into this but what if Rebekah sent April out of the room in order to protect her like from Tyler after she compelled him to change. It was also good to see Kol as well. Umm, exsqueeze me, but that new “mayor” is the Alpha Vampire! WTF?? I hate it when TVD gets people from Supernatural! Ugh! It’s like they’re taking credit for that actor being recognizable because they were on TVD. Wrong, bitches!

This changes everything. LOL Rebekah just called Elena a trollop. HAHAHAHA Stebekah. YES. Love it. But I’m guessing Plec will find a way to **** with it, so I’m not even going to get my hopes up. Forwood!!! But what happened to their angst? And why is Tyler becoming this… unfeeling bastard? Is it just because of his mom? Or the director of the ep? Because everything he’s done in this ep was so ridiculous and robotic. It’s like I wasn’t watching Tyler at all, except for the Forwood scene. Yeah, Bonnie fans. TVD is determined to make her hated (even more) this season. Because Shane the Psycho is a “bad guy” and because it’s hate by association, Bonnie’s the bad guy too. I know. I hear ya. There’s always Rebekah. Speaking of, I LOVED that she’s back and Kol too, and I can’t wait for their face off with Klaus, but why is Kol suddenly being antagonistic towards her too? I mean, WTF?? I don’t think April getting linked to Shane was an accident. There was something fishy about that scene. Now I’m going to find Stefan and hug him forever. __________________

I was a bit disappointed in this episode. It was a little bit boring! The last one was so much better.
I am happy to see Rebekah back. I like the idea of Stefan and Rebekah working together. Elena, Stefan should have let you die on the bridge that first time. I can't believe how much i have come to dsilike this character. God. Looking forward to seeing Jeremy's storyline unfold. I would love to see more Bonnie scenes... |

This episode was just heartbreaking to me.
As much AS I hated Rebekah forcing the truths out of Elena like that, let just face it Elena nor Damon had no intent on telling Stefan the truth and Elena giving Caroline the death glare for telling Stefan told me all I needed to know . Because I honestly felt she would of kept going with it.. Being with Damon and not telling Stefan anything and I think Caroline saw it too and that why she told I think. Stefan walking away was the best thing he ever did, you want to know why even though he wanted to erase the hurt and the pain and memories of Elena I think a deep part of him knew he couldnt hurt her like that so he walked away instead now why she decided to chase after him after everything she had to say I will never get it.. Let him go, same way you keep telling him to let you go .. and honestly her dialogue felt like 4x02 when she lied about the Bloodsharing, "I am sorry and I didn't want to hurt you etc.... I do not think the writers even know how unfeeling that comes across I mean like I said the damage is already so what else needs to be said? Damon finding out that Stefan was off , your brother finds out about you and Elena and you have to ask " How did he take it? Is that even an answer for that?  __________________
