There's a Kolab sized hole in my heart. But honestly, what a ****ing epic two episodes. That death scene...he's such a bamf. I have a friend who always hated Kol (dunno why we're friends, haha) and even she was a mess when he died.

The worst part is, we have boring Hayley triangle and snowflake babies to look forward to without a reprieve of Kolab being having a blast and sexy stuff with Davina/puppy love with New-Beks/brotherly angst with Klaus. :blank:

I am really gonna miss him, Kol played by Daniel Sharman was my favourite character on the show. I hope that he will be back but I don't really have much hope.

Yeah with the way he was tweeting that night it seems like a lost cause for Daniel Sharman to be back, but then again he might just be throwing us off. Maybe his stint as Kol is done, but he could be back as Kaleb :shrug:. JP & Co. love their love triangles and they can't seem to control their lady boners when it comes to DS so he might be back later in the season :shrug:. Besides I haven't heard anything about other projects he's involved in and there's no info on him returning to Teen Wolf. Who knows :shrug:.

Yeah, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm not getting my hopes up. It was indeed because of those tweets that I'm quite skeptical about his return. But like you said you knever know. It could be a goodbye tweet because he's taking a long break from the originals, or trying to throw us of as you said. The writers really seem to love him so I woudn't be suprised if they want him back at one point. I think the question is if Daniel wants to return or wants to try out other things. I actually doubt he's returning to teen wolf because he left not even ayear ago to try different things. I wouldn't mind seeing him back on the small screen but the rol of Isaac isn't that big of a rol as to the rol of Kol. From what I've seen of him on teen wolf Daniel has gotten much more to do on the originals and had a lot more great scenes to show his acting skills compaired to his scenes on teen wolf. I guess at this point I only want him back on the originals :lol:

Acting wise I think he would be best on this show. He's a lot more exposed/utilized (as you said) on The Original more than he ever was on Teen Wolf. I loved Isaac, but he was a very minor character that they seemed to have ignored for the most part. I think playing Koleb has benefited him and really allowed him to shine. I would love for Daniel to be brought back. I think as Kaleb would be fun, but if they don't bring Nate back as Kol then I definitely want Daniel to play him again :nod:.

Agree, if they're doing all of this just to bring Kol back in a different body that is not Nate or Daniel, I am going to be extremely pissed off.

I might even turn into the Hulk and go all "KARA SMASH!" :lol:. Honestly though I don't think the writers would be so stupid as to bring another random in to play Kol. They struck gold once with Daniel Sharman playing an already loved character so I just don't see them trying to do it again because both Kol's now have a very strong following. I just wish we knew about what both Daniel and Nate are up to so we could figure out what's happening to Kol :pout:.

I agree with the both of you. A thirth actor wouldn't work period. I'm one of the people who preffer Daniel as Kol. I would like for him to return to the show but I prefer him as Kol over returning as Kaleb. We don't know anything about Kaleb and I like the chemistry between Daniel and Danielle. Kol and Davina are my favourite pairing from all that I watch. I don't 'know if Nate and Daniel will have the same amount of Chemistry.

As far as it is known for now both Nate and Daniel aren't doing much when it comes to acting. And before we here otherwise this could mean that one of them could return in the future because they aren't working on anything at the moment.

Totally agree. From what I've seen the rol of Isaac was a great addition to the show but wasn't that important. On the originals he was able to show his acting skills way more. He is getting much more material and Kol is a way more complexed character. I thought he nailed every scene in the last episode. Also all his scenes with Joseph Morgan in the episode before where also amazing.

Apparently Daniel is doing other stuff, but I don't see Nate being very busy at all judging by his TW account.

I just think is a real shame because no matter how much I like Nate as Kol and Nate in general, I think Daniel was one of the best actors in the show? I would find him more appealing than Daniel Gillies at times and he was in 14 episodes or less and Daniel has been around for YEARS. I know that also helps, because Daniel is kinda bored with Elijah and also he has two shows but I just appreciate the fact that they brought Finn and Kol back giving the chance to 2 great actors. I personally find Yusuf better than Casper already too.

Is just hard, we got to see Kol for several episodes as Nate and bringing him back as Daniel takes time to adjust and even after seeing that Daniel is very good as Kol, you sill don't feel right cause is not Nate? but I really wanted Kaleb to stay around as his own. Imagine Kaleb's body coming back but not Kol's soul and Davina being all confused because the face is the same but not the personality? sort of like Bangel when Angel went back to being Angelous? it'd be awesome. And eventually getting Kol in Nate back and Davina not knowing what to feel :sigh:

May I love that theory/story :love:. I would think that's something JP & Co. would thrive at because they love love triangles/angst. I love Daniel Sharman and think he did an amazing job as Kol, but it never really felt right without Nate because Nate made that character for me. I think that they missed a great opportunity in having both actors on the show if DS is really done.

I think Daniel Sharman is a very strong actor and he brought such a different vibe to the show and a new perspective on Kol's character. I think Gillies is a great actor too, but he seems to be bored with Elijah at the moment too, but that might also just be because he's been living on a farm/locked in a crypt for most of this season so who knows :shrug:.

Yusuf over Casper, tbh. He's basically made Finn exciting and complex while Casper was just kinda boring to me.

Daniel Sharman has completely won me over as Kol/Kaleb from his first scene in The Originals till his last in the last episode! Nate was great as Kol in TVD but I've never cared about Kol until DS came in and I owe tremendous credit to Daniel's acting. I thought the writing for Kol was good and Daniel did a great job with the material.
