It's cannon for the show. It just helps to understand Stefan a little more with past experiences.

Finally brought it today!

I was in Target and knew they would have it. They had a spot for it with the other TVD books but it was empty. I almost had a panic attack. I was ready to flag down an employee and demand they search every inch in the back for a copy. Then I found they had like 8 copies on another display.

I love how it has the same theme as the other books. And I can't help but stare at that gorgeous face on the cover. :drool:

On the spine of the book where the author's name usually is it says L.J. Smith, Williamson, Pec. And in the back cover it has a little bio for all 3 of them. Maybe all 3 of them co wrote it?

Thats weird on my book, on the side it says L.J.Smith, on the front it says based on the books by L.J.Smith,and I dont have bio thing at the back :confused:

I wonder if UK edition is different..

But then again mine says based on the hits series of ITV2. I hate it when it does that, its on the dvd too :(

I think a lot of UK editions are different. On the front of mine it says Based on the novels by L. J. Smith and the Tv series developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec.

Mine says 'Based on the novels by LJ Smith and the TV series developed by Kevin Williamson & Julie plec" and has GO! now a hit GO! series.. so we must have a australian publisher
