It disappoints me that they never gotten a lot of screen time. The writers never properly acknowledged their past very much.

Stefan is the guy I really want Rebekah with..... I think they have so much chemistry, and Stefan really did love her when he met her in the 20's, the feelings got all screwed up because of Klaus' compulsion to make him forget about the siblings and then his infatuation with Elena

But I still think that once Stefan moves on from Elena completely his feeling for Rebekah could come back

It also would have made TVD less dramatic than it is already is. They would probably would still be going out in season one.

They accept the good and the bad about each other. She actually lets him make his own decisions, she never raped, stalked, or messed with his head, they both have a desire to become human, and can start a family in Rome.

I truly believe that both Stefan and Rebekah will be so happy together they have the connection and there was love between them that can come back
