So many good interactions between characters and lines of dialogue:

Klaus and Hope with the piles of donuts. Klaus: "I guess that makes you a princess". Hayley: "Well I guess apple turnovers are fruit."

Keelin: "Of course I'm right, I'm a doctor." (Telling Freya that she need not have the whole world on her shoulders.)

Vincent to Freya about the Mikaelsons not seeing the truth right before their eyes: "Everything dies!"

Marcel playing referee to Klaus separately and together with Vincent as they fight over making a plan

Klaus looking in Marcel's eyes and trusting that he's telling the truth (wow Klaus can be calm instead of paranoid--he HAS changed!)

Klaus talking about stacks of bodies and later losing it and making stacks of bodies for real when the Hollow's minions try to stop he and Vincent.
(And yet he is still THE SAME when he needs to be.)

That scene between Freya, Klaus and Hayley when Hayley pleads with Klaus to stop and he yells: "TRY AGAIN!" (Klaus will NEVER LOSE HIS PASSION, especially about what matters.) I really thought Elijah might really be dead.

Then Hope comes in and gives hope...gently touching Freya's shoulder, seeing "Uncle Elijah" dressed as he was when he was human, still there somewhere--in pain, but alive. (Can't wait until next week!)

Vincent telling Klaus he has lived up to the potential Cami saw in him (and Vincent does not give out compliments freely to the Mikaelsons.)

Vincent telling his "parishoners" one thing--the Hollow chose to gain power in order to control, but they chose to work for peace--then later reneging on his principles to gain more power himself, opening himself to the same temptations by asking Marcel for his book. One time that Marcel's easygoing personality is not a good thing. This will not end well.

The creepy Hollow birth scene. Talk about a spoiled brat.

I noticed that too. Vincent told his parishioners one thing,yet he did another. He made a power grab by asking for his book back. I wonder if Vincent made some type of deal with the hollow? I'm not trusting him right now,because we didn't get to see his discussion with the hollow.


I noticed in this episode both Vincent and Marcel mention that the Mikaelson was willing to save a sibling above everyone else. They point out that they will choose a sibling over defeating the hollow,yet in this episode both Marcel and Vincent are put in the same position as the Mikaelson and both chose to save a love one. Vincent chose to save Maxine over killing Klaus although killing Klaus would have help to stop the hollow. Marcel chose to give the hollow the bone in exchange for Sofya although the bone is the last thing she needed to be reconstructed .



I was so upset when I thought Elijah was dead,but when Hope touch Freya's shoulder and they saw that Elijah is still alive I was so excited . However he is behind the red door. That can't be good. Does Hayley and Klaus know about Elijah's red door? Elijah technically died. So do that mean his entire sire line is dead as well? and if Elijah comes back does his sire line return as well?

I'm late to the party--bad last few weeks--but good observation! It's interesting though that Vincent didn't have to actually choose Maxine over killing Klaus--although he definitely hesitated--because Klaus found a way for them to have a WIN WIN by working quickly and dispatching Maxine's kidnappers. I love it when that happens. Unfortunately, it didn't completely work out--they still had time to burn the thorns. Can't blame them all for wanting to save an innocent person. Don't know if I'd do any different in the same situation. What bothers Vincent and Marcel though I think is that they can be so Machiavellian in using others to save their own. It's one thing to react and save someone in the moment when you are given no choice--it's another to willingly cause harm to others' families over your own, thinking the end justifies the means.

I like that the Mikaelsons were trying to find a win win situation in saving Elijah AND defeating the Hollow, but ironically, Vincent may have turned out to be right in wanting to execute his original plan rather than complicate it by using Klaus--because it gave the Hollow time to see what they were up to. He was right that Elijah was pretty much dead anyway, but wow I can't blame the Mikaelsons for wanting to see if there were any chance Elijah could be saved--and there was! For a moment there, I thought maybe he wouldn't be and the music and the scene with Klaus, Hayley, Freya and Hope coming in was so touching.

Meh this episode bored me. Again. Dont care to see Elijah being tortured the whole episode.

More blah blah drama with Klaus and Vincent and Marcel. Snooze. I will say this, the Vincent actor is really good. When he yelled at Freya about the Originals and their lives etc... that was so well delivered.

BORING hayley/hope scenes. This kid has been dull from the get go. And Hayley didnt even seem that sad when she thought he was dead. BLECK.

Keelin/Fraya are but they also kinda skipped over all the good stuff with them so I'm already losing interest.

I did enjoy seeing soft adorable Klaus this episode though. His sadness over his brother...

Im ready to be done with this season already.
