So wow...
Camille's last moments were all about pimping Klaus' character. I think it says a lot about the value of a character by how they make their last moments. Laurel/Black Canary was all about her ex being happy with his new fiance and now Camille's is about Klaus being a good person. I am happy Camille is gone because I had no love for her character, but it's really sad that her death couldn't even be about her. I think she had more agency and a voice when she was trying to choose to die human or become a vampire. What a mess. Loved hearing Birdie though . Kol killing Davina wasn't surprising, but my damn shipper heart is being beaten to death with these guys all the freaking time. My poor babies. I just hope they don't leave Davina dead forever because that would be a huge mistake. Lucien was a blast this episode. Sassy and an ahole . Nothing else really for me this episode. I'm much more excited for the rest of the season though. I'm feeling super conflicted about the episode... __________________

WOW. This whole episode was just completely shocking. Like my jaw was open.
I'm with the group who loves Cami, however, I was actually hoping she really did die off because I was so convinced that she wasn't going to die off and that someone would find a way to save her but the impact of her death was felt greatly and I felt it was done perfectly. I think I sort of became a Klaus/Cami fan during this episode because I appreciated how it was written. I loved all the goodbyes scenes to Cami, it was just bittersweet and I loved Vincent/Cami friendship so it's really too bad we won't see more of that. Davina/Kol. I didn't see that one coming at all, I was just shocked... like he really drained her of her blood. I loved how Kol wanted Davina to put the dagger in him because he could not trust himself around her, and by the ending, my goodness was he correct. That is an episode where I say it was the perfect writing; it had nice moments, tearful moments and moments that will make you completely shocked. |

Kol killing Davina by draining her of her blood was a shocker. The Ancestors are persistant. I think she is coming back. Loved how Kol helped her put the dagger into him so that he would not harm her.
The rest of the episode was wonderful. |

I didn't think the episode was dramatic at all--dramatic meaning having ups and downs...it was all down, except for the ending with Davina and Kol, which was surprising. With Cami, they worked SO hard to make us believe she was going to die from the get-go, it was so obvious, that I thought maybe they wouldn't, because this show loves the shocking twist. The characters did try to help her, but it just seemed like they were doing errands getting her blood or herbs. They really couldn't come up with anything else to help (the characters or the writers?) (I am not crazy about this ancestors storyline anyway. Why back Lucien who would just become a New Original? Why can they block a witch's magic sometimes and not other times? Not convincing.) I am glad Klaus and Cami had a "perfect day" together and that characters had a chance to say goodbye. I am disappointed because why bring her back for a few months then do nothing else with the character and kill her off? Her Dark Objects even became nothing else but Ninja stars.
I even expected more rage and action from Klaus, rather than just taking it like that. However, I loved how Freya was being the big sister telling him to find a way to be her nurse and wondering to Elijah if he would be okay. Last edited by Truthisbeauty; 04-30-2016 at 01:15 PM Reason: add |

In TVD silas drank the cure from katherines blood, couldn't cami drink all of auroras blood? as she then died she would have became as lucien, i was pretty sure they were heading at that direction don't know why.

I do like Lucien, even if he killed Cami. Terrific actor playing him. When they introduced his character I had high hopes, but I have a feeling they are simplifying things now. I really want to see him kill Tristan, for example, and/or Aurora, for how they abused him.

I see so many people loving Lucien...I don't know what I'm missing! I find him pretty annoying, and a poor villain. He's all pomp and no substance. I'm just thinking back to the days when Klaus was really a villain and how much more menacing he was. Plus, Lucien has this kind of nasal voice that grates on me....
