Yeah that's one of my biggest issues with Camille. She had been abused by Klaus many times and yet makes up a ton of excuses and gets all flustered by his mere presence because he's hot

. She has just as many reasons to hate Klaus (and all supernaturals) yet she decides to sweep it under the rug for the D. I would respect her more if she went all vamp hunter on them tbh.

For me it's on the same level as calling Ana Steele/50 shades of puke a strong female character

. They both allow abusive men into their lives and make dumb excuses for them.

Rebekah did for a long time too, but she also called Klaus out on being the abusive scumbag he tends to be.

Rebekah can almost be the worst at times. She talks about "girls sticking together" and yet the moment she gets the D she becomes an idiot. I like her much better as the scorned woman who is bitter about never finding love instead of the naive little girl who lets the first guy who gives her a little attention walk all over her.

I don't think it's something I will ever watch tbh. Not only have I heard it's slow paced/boring, but it's not something I'm all that interested in. I'm actually super surprised the show got a S2.

Yeah I don't think I would have even considered checking out the show if it wasn't for Claire. I hope it does well for her sake though. She deserves so many good things.
