Normally you'd expect her gloat about being right because she told Elena there was a chance for Damon to come back. I like that Caroline isn't over involved in Elena's love life.

Guess deep down she was kind of happy for her and didn't want to gloat at all

I liked seeing them preparing the Thanksgiving dinner together and discuss together, it was such a normal, simple, familiar scene for them, no drama involved for once, it was nice to see them calm

I really did like their scenes last night, I wish Elena was able to talk her back from the edge. I thought she would have seeing as Caroline had to put up with flip switched!Elena and knew how bad she was but alas, Caroline has to learn for herself.

They both had a point in their speeches, but I hoped too that Elena could have gone through her and stopped her in time

I agree with that too, Caroline saw what happened to Elena with the switch-off, she knows it doesn't work so much in the end, it's more a cheat, guess densperation makes you do impulsive things

Random question but one I think is significant. I was thinking about how Stefan, Damon, and Enzo have all served in the military. On the other hand, we have not seen any female vampires serving in the military ( liz was a human police officer close but no cigar). The question is do you think either Caroline or Elena or both ( maybe together) would ever serve in the military? 200, 400, 600 years from now?

Don't see any of them being interested in serving in the military TBH

I mean, guess it can always happened, but from what I saw about Caroline and Elena, I think they'll focus on other future jobs if they'll want to actually work

I preferred Elena as a writer, but doctor can be cool too for her if she can handle her insticts. While Caroline... IDK, maybe singer since she has a beautiful voice

Or a teacher if she'd prefer something less famous, I can see her being the sweetheart-teacher

I had a bad feeling anyway, but I was relieved that at least someone had noticed Caroline had acted strangely

I'm worried about Caroline, a lot now, hope to see at least some good friendship's scenes with Elena, they handled them well this year
