Aww, I cried when Matt started crying and punching the wheel! He was upset that he couldn't save Tyler!

I was so touched that he was so upset

And it's going to be so heartbreaking when he sees Tyler (now being inhabited by Klaus) alive and hugs him and he still thinks he's Tyler

Looking back on the eps now, I can see why they suddenly had a lot more Tyler/Matt scenes being all bromancy than usual this season... they were setting it up for this

It's sad b\c they were way closer in S1 but they did show them a bit more near the end of the season and even though they had their drama, Tyler is Matt's best friend and vice versa and I really liked that scene where Matt breaks down. He breaks my heart.

Which would make Klaus even more despicable, considering how it'll all play out next season. Matt will not be happy. And I say that because I believe Matt is still alive

They had their problems but they have been best friends for their entire lives so it doesn't matter what happened they have always cared about each other.
