I must be the only one, but I love that he is off to hunt instead of college. It ties his story better together, especially with what John Gilbert said about him one day carrying on the family legacy. Plus, my Jerlaric heart loves that Alaric is the only one who knows.

My only complaint is that even in the episode where Jeremy goes off to become a rogue vampire hunter, he still gets his ass kicked by vampires. Like... Okay? Yeah, I know they needed that to happen for 1) the whole Matt/Sarah/Enzo plot, 2) So Elena could worry, but that was just ridiculous. He should have kicked Enzo's ass.

No no, I like it too I was just shocking in the beginning, didn't see that coming I think Jeremy deserves normality and happiness for sure, but with everything that had happened to him, he's far past it To the point he prefers to do this than being at a normal art school I think it's interesting, and the idea itself is more appealing than the other one

Absolutely. He (and Elena) have been through the most out of everyone, IMO. But it's like JP said (in an interview that was posted in the spoilers section): "We wanted to make a point that no one leaves MF unchanged." /or something like that.

And yesss. This guarantees that they'll be in contact. Even if I won't see it, it offers me some peace. <3 Haha, imagine if Jeremy comes back for an episode or two (pls god). Could be really funny (and sad) to see how he handles being bombarded with questions about his new 'normal' life. If he does visit, I have a feeling they might reveal his secret to everyone, and have Elena accept it because he will have proved that he can take care of himself.

I like this idea He has been through a lot between his parents, his sister, his friends, his own deaths... normality, for him, has a new meaning

IDK if JP said something about it after the episode, but I think it won't hurt to make Jeremy appear even just in some episodes in the future, I can see that happen

I guess she'll be angry in the beginning and go on over-protective!mode first But yeah, then she'll probably accept it

I have a sneaking suspicion that it was Steven's idea for Jeremy to be a vampire hunter. It sounds like some superhero dream he would have wanted, and let's not forget that he's improvised some unscipted kisses. I could see Julie asking him if he has any preferences to the nature of Jeremy's exit.

Ugh, I have so many ideas for possible Jeremy episodes. Visiting MF all changed and badass, or the gang going to see him in "college" and lol he has 24 hours to find an excuse/prep to give them a tour around his school (and having absolutely no idea what he's doing) or him possibly landing in trouble and everyone going to help (but it still ends with him being badass, ofc.)

Ahahahah, that'd be amazing, so hilarious Like Elena making questions about the school and him trying to act nonchalantly about it, but having no idea where to go, pretending to meet people he know

Probably the writers wanted to leave the door open for a future return, that's why they didn't let Jeremy go to art school. A strong, capable hunter always comes in handy on this show, an artist...not so much

That's my point exactly, he can make his skills usefull And I agree about the art school part, a hunter is more usefull in their world than an artist A girl can dream, season7 has to end with some action for once, I want it badlly!!

I just read a horrible rumor that the Titans creators refused to meet with Steven because they don't think he's right for the part. I really hope it's not true, but I'm starting to believe he won't be Nightwing.

The way Steven has been talking lately, I get the feeling he hasn't even auditioned for anything yet. I really hope he doesn't expect Twitter to do the work for him. Nightwing fan art and pics of him working out won't get him the job.
