This thread is really great, everyone is awesome whether they ship Stefan/Caroline as friends or more than friends <3

I really hope we get a good amount of scenes. And I'll be really let down in Stefan isn't the one who saves her. I have so many expectations for this episode that I'm afraid I'll be let down. Lol.

I know, after 2x11 I said to myself that I would never raise any more expectations for an episode because it seems that we always get disappointed lol So for 2x12 I wasn't expecting something out of the ordinary, but it came to be one of the best episodes of the show(at least for me )

I'm trying not get too excited for the up coming episode but the potential in the Steroline department is so big that I don't know if I can take it lol

I REALLY hope we don't get disappointed

For me, even if Stefan isn't the one to save her, I'll still be happy if he is the first to notice she's missing and goes after her.

I wish I could be happy with just that. Lol. But I really want him to save her. I feel like it makes the most sense, not just from a shipping point of view.

I feel like Tyler would not have the means or power to really save her, he's still so new to everything. And I'm not sure where he stands with the whole thing.

Damon, he might help her, but he's not in the right place to save anyone. I think he's finally decided Caroline is a good person to have on their side, but that doesn't mean he'd go to extremes for her.

Bonnie, she could help but knowing the show, they won't have her too involved.

Elena seams to be in her own story, not that she could save Caroline anyway.

That pretty much leaves Stefan as the most logical option. He is the one who knows the most about her interaction with Tyler. She's talked to him about it before and by the looks of the promo, she'll talk to him about it again.

This means he's the most up to date on her situation with him, and will know to worry. He'll also know that the wolves and Tyler are involved. He'll know where to start looking for her. And it's in his nature to help someone in trouble. Not to mention the fact that he seams to feel a responsibility towards Caroline. He made a specific promise to protect her and I think it would be nice if the show continued to pay that off.

He also has the ability to talk calmly to Tyler and make him see things clearly. And he's strong enough to fight people off.

If someone is going to save her, he's the most logical choice. He's also a good emotional choice.

My hope is that we get a bit more of an emotional pay off with them. When she saved him from the well and from Mason, both were sort of brushed over. I'd like to see them share a moment if he helps her. Relief on his part, gratitude on hers. Comfort. Protectivness.

I just get so worried that the show will backburner their friendship and connection. I'm trying to stay hopeful though.

Me too. I never like when one show makes a character take precedence over everyone else.

Yeah, in a promo picture he doesn't seem to be talking to Tyler so calmly lol
Actually he has Tyler up against a wall lol

And I'm hoping this is a scene where he's so concerned about Caroline that he doesn't mind not being too friendly with Tyler

We're having little scenes since 2x03 but I hope this episode makes up for it
I don't think they would let their friendship regress...
And I know that Caroline is in this love triangle with Matt and Tyler and Stefan is still with Elena but I don't know why, in the future I can really see them happening... They just make more sense to me you know?
They're both vampires, they're close friends now, they both bring the best out of each other... If it's well written I REALLY don't see why they can't happen...

And I trust the writers of TVD, I'm not always the guy who trust writers, but they are doing a very good job so... Yeah, I trust them

I can totally see S/C being more than friends in s4 or s5. I've already convinced myself they're going to be together in some capacity for eternity.

I really like when Stefan lets his vampire side come out and becomes dark.

I'm hoping that conversation is about Caroline. There's a good chance it is. Lol.

Exactly. The little moments have been nice. It's fun to pick them apart. But I really want some substancial scenes with them now.

I feel like they really make sense as a pairing. Not right at this moment, because they're both so involved with other people. But I can see them heading there in the long run.

When/if S&C ever get together we can all laugh at the scene in the Pilot where S tells her it's never going to happen.

LOL It would be cool if they had a scene remembering when they first met and then they both laugh at how wrong they started it but how right it is now
