Rant: Rape okay in Mystic Falls?
Damon rapes Caroline (obvious)
Katherine rapes Stefan (compelling)
Tyler tries to rape Vicki- obvious
Damon tries to rape Elena- obvious but seen as romantic....ugh
Klaus tries to rape Caroline- takes over Tyler's body.

You're right, I think there's more too. We've discussed this before, but my opinion is that we have to clearly separate real life from fantasy shows, especially one involving vampires/werewolves. They aren't humans, we routinely forgive them for murder in a heartbeat so the same rules don't apply as they would in real world based shows.

Also agree that we should at times separate from real life, like you said about we forgive them about murder.

Rape isn't a good thing and certainly shouldn't be forgiven - so its why I have problem with what Damon did to Caroline in the first season with the complusion

I also think Tyler's actions regarding Vicki trying to force himself on her in the pilot was not a good thing thankfully it didn't happen

Stefan|Katherine don't see as complusion cause Stefan already "loved" Katherine before finding out that she was a vampire. Yes she did compell him afterwards cause of how afraid he had became

Not sure I see the Damon|Elena though are you regarding to the sire-bond? I don't see that as rape truthfully because Elena had already had feelings for him while she was human

Yea even as a Klaroline shipper when Klaus was using Tyler's body as a host, that was wrong
