I see that every 10th member has their name bolded. We didn't bold number 90. Want me to change that or is it like that for a reason?

So I've let this episode simmer down for a day and I think I like it. I wasn't sure if I did last night. I just think it was necessary for Elena to see a really dark part of Damon because it is a reality of who he is right now. It's out in the open and I'd much rather her know the "bad" Damon and then discover the "good", then vice versa. It just wouldn't make sense.

And for them to work, there has to be acceptance on who he is as a whole. Acceptance of his past. Better the evil deeds be out in the open, you know?


I did really like their private talk. I think it's interesting that in his way Damon has been more honest with Elena about his past than Stefan-- if only because he's actually volunteered information whereas Stefan refuses to say anything of sustenance. For that reason, I think this talk and the kitchen talk are my favorites so far. Damon showed some vulnrebility and he actually didn't seem like he was trying to work her over too, too terribly. Is it sincerity I detest in there somewhere? A wee little bit? :cool:
