I stopped watching the show in part because of how Season 4 moved toward Delena. Elena's transformation into a vampire changed her for the worse, in my opinion.

Nope. I was way too angry after they destroyed Forwood in 5x05

Plus, I was immediately turned off when Season 4 happened and Elena just seemed different in a bad way. She never wanted to be a vampire and suddenly she was stuck with it.
