I'm forever a sucker for this sibling relationship.

I was thinking earlier, do you guys suppose next season we might get a bit of a reversal in the balance of their relationship?

I remember in season 1 she was always trying to look out for him. Season 2 seemed more even, and now I'm kind of thinking, with all the loss that happened right in front of Elena, things might shift where Jeremy will have to be the strong one for her.

He seems more stable and confident now too, where as Elena bottling things up and trying to keep moving forward is starting to worry me :no:

I think that now they are going to take care of each other because they have noone else. I wonder what is going to happen with their custody now that Jenna is dead.

I'm curious how that is all going to go down more and more.

I would think they would be trying to cover up Aunt Jenna's death since it was by vampires so I wonder if the whole custody things will become a mess.

Obviously they'll need a guardian though, and I'm really hoping Alaric steps up since his dynamic with Jeremy is amazing.

I think Elena's going to have a harder time adjusting though. I don't know. It just keeps nagging at me. :lol:

I'm hoping it leads to tons more scenes with Elena and Jeremy, no matter how it plays out. I hope they get to have some meaningful scenes and some family fun scenes too. I like balance! :lol:

Me too. I usually enjoy their family scenes.

I think Alaric is the obvious choice for their guardian.

both Nina and Steven play their characters wonderfully. They are indeed perfect!

Season 2 was significantly better on the Elena and Jeremy front :nod:

They're there for each other when it matters the most. When one falls the other's there to catch them. I could honestly watch a show of just them all the time :lol:

This was what I was hoping for more of in season 1. I'm glad the writers are kind of back tracking and showing that their past hurts aren't forgotten and we can see them develop with their losses together this time around.

And can I just say, I adore that last graphic :love:

Everything about them is perfection. The sibling fun they have, the ability to be bluntly honest with each other because family won't abandon you, all their hugs and glances of worry.
