Well, I mus asmit I prefer them this year than in season4 for example, even if they don't talk much At least they're in good terms and we got few good scenes, back in season4 and even 5 it was just drama, drama and more drama Hate that period!

That'd be cute, they both seem good at cooking Perfect men!

Season 4 were bad times I was pretty much annoyed with everybody including these two so it is better now Just wish we could see it.

I re-watched their scene in 6x08 with Mrs Cuddles and Rick... it was so hilarious, wish we got more of this

18 year old Damon and 10 year old Stefan and advice giving! Genuine advice giving. Little brother coming to his big brother for advice! Of course some may not like the advice Damon gave but I think it came from a good place. The end result just didn't end up very well. But alas, DS moments! And how Damon apologized to Stefan to not being able to give the eulogy before. And oh my god when Mama Salvatore shows on up, we're gonna get way more DS!

I think the advice Damon gave to Stefan was fine.. Damon was giving advice on what Stefan was saying.. Damon was reacting to Stefan's demeanour. I loved it.. and as you all know.. I am not a big Damon fan (). I just wish DS had more scenes devoted to them.. let's hope Mama Salvatore does that

I agree but I wasn't sure if because of what happened due to the advice that some people would be mad at it. I do think Damon was going off of what he knows about Stefan and his past feelings\relationships when he came up with the advice. It was solid advice and I think at the time it was given, Stefan agreed but then things changed later on. Either way, I appreciated Stefan coming to Damon about it just like brothers would. I like when they have those calm, loving, genuine moments. They don't get those much anymore.

And before this episode, I thought he felt guilty about not giving the eulogy because of his mom but it was also because of Stefan so it was nice that he kind of got to make up for that a bit by making sure that Liz had a nice eulogy.

I think a combination of what Stefan said in the past and what Elena said in the present really helped Damon figure out what to say during the eulogy. Younger sibling giving advice and older sibling giving advice in one episode!

I didn't mind Damon's advice. It was the kind of advice you give to someone to make sure they make the right decision for themselves.

Brothers' scenes were amazing last episode Love all of them, I feared far worse about Damon's advice to Stefan, instead they surprised me, I think it was a very good advice and well-balanced to the situation

Flashbacks were cute, I ahve a bit of issues with Ian playing younger!Damon mostly bc his voice was too adult for such a young person, but I liked the style and he was good in playing him And when young!Damon got baby!Stefan ready for the funeral and made a mess of his hair... I think it was so cute!!!

I think they styled Ian well. He really looked younger in the flashback.

But this scene was also bittersweet because they were so close as humans but then came all the drama afterwards up to the present

Yeah, they were With that difference of age, Damon looked like a father figure for him too, Giuseppe surely wasn't the "father of the year" How can you asked to a little boy NOT to cry for his mother?!?

I really have no idea, could be all of them My first thought was "vampire" bc she died of consuption and in legends it's the illness linked to vampires But IDK, after last episode, discovering the many worlds, my bet is on "witch" now, which I'd prefer TBH, no more vampires in that family Simple "human" is... too simple





This scene was so cute too, Stefan all awkward in brother bonding, and of course Damon had to be a cutely ass in the beginning But he gave good advices in the end

The flashbacks were cute Damon was sweet for giving Baby Stefan his tie, helping him to get ready for the funeral and telling him he was allowed to cry if he felt like to.

So so about the present scenes, most of them were about Stefan's love life and I need the brothers to share moments that don't revolve around their romantic relationships. However, I liked Damon being sorry for letting Stefan down when their mom died, it was sweet of him

I think Mama Salvatore is a vampire; she was imprisoned and condmened to relive the same day in the prison world in 1903, by then she should have been old but the actress looks young and Damon recognized her immediately. She could be a witch that found a way not to age but I'm leaning towards vampire

I found that scene very cute, Baby!Stefan was just adorable, trying to bow his tie, and when Young!Damon entered he had this sweet smile watching his younger brother

I think that back there he felt like he had failed his little brother and his mother's memory too

Or maybe she was imprisoned in 1864 and then switched worlds but failed to come back, like Bonnie in the last episode I just don't see the sense in making her being imprisoned just in 1903, where had she been before that then? Guess we'll see

Bonnie switched world because Kai didn't follow the rules of the merge and was feeling sick, maybe you are right and something like that, like the head of the Gemini coven being on the verge of dying for one reason or another, happened in the past too and Mama Salvatore found herself in 1903.

Or she could have become a vampire in 1857, turned off her emotions and never contacted her loved ones, at some point she ran into the Gemini coven and they imprisoned her. I feel like they could dedicate an entire show to the Salvatore family's past
