Mmm now some people think that Damon will be the new villain in season 5. I don't think so. Haven't they learned anything about character developement?
 Yes he will face his past and have difficulties with it. But he has his wifey now. And she won't give up on him. The only reason I can think of (Damon turning it off) is a DE breakup or losing Elena (death). But I hope Damon will stay true to his humanity. He has come so far!!! Someone said that everything will be
