As far as VD goes, it's long been my opinion that Kevin is going to great lengths to make sure history does NOT repeat itself. We've seen Stefan/Elena talk out their problems, and the few times they have broken up it's been for reasons outside of their control(and only for a handful of episodes). Stefan and Damon have actually grown closer as the show has gone on instead of vice-versa, and I actually get the feeling Damon puts loyalty to Stefan above his own wants. In some ways, I think Kevin wants to make up for the mess that his last show became.

I did go a little far when I called Elena a "cheater" :lol: What I mean is that Kevin kinda implied that next season is gonna be ablout Elena accepting the fact that it's okay to love them both. Unless, I didn't get it right?

I really don't like it. I mean I knew that one day she'd probably have conflicted feelings but it's so early in the show. If Elena is already having feelings for Damon (hopefully not the same kind of feelings she has for Stefan) how is this story gonna progress in the future? Could DE get in a relationship one day? I honestly never thought that would happen but now I'm scared.

I guess when Kevin says she "loves both Damon and Stefan" he doesn't necessarily mean that she loves Damon the same way she loves Stefan, right? Maybe she just realizes she loves him and not that she's in love with him? :look:

I dont think Kevin meant exactly Season 2, but I think he meant in general that Elena (like Katherine) will understand thats its okay to love both brothers (its not but anyway) but like Katherine, she probably will love Stefan more.

I hope they don't copy the books and make Elena love them the same way. That'd ruin SE. I don't see how they'd be this epic couple if Elena screwed Stefan's brother.

I'm sad because it kinda takes back what Elena said to Stefan in the season 1 finale when she said "I love YOU, Stefan. YOU!" and "I love Stefan, it's always gonna be Stefan!" :(

About Dawson's creek, I don't think it was Kevin's fault. He had no other choice but to end it with Pacey and Joey. Seasons 3,4 and 6 were all about them. I guess the show would have been different if Kevin hadn't left after season 2.

Having feelings doesn't necessarily equal' being in a relationship with'. You can love more than one person, just so long as you prioritize which person you love more. I'm fairly certain that's what the show's going for. I don't like it, but it's not going to ruin my enjoyment of the show and of Stefan/Elena's love story.

I think Katherine was just telling her not to feel guilty about it, not encouraging her to try some sort of polygamous relationship.

No way would the censors let them get away with that.

Oh, give me a break--I might give you 3 and 4(under extreme duress), but 6 was totally about playing both sides against the middle. And from what I recall from interviews at the time, he was attempting to give both sides of the triangle something with the finale...he just failed horribly.

But yes...the feel of the show really changed after season 2. There were still bits and pieces of the old show scattered throughout(keeping the old fans hopes up, obviously), but the rest of it basically became a soap opera. And a vehicle to lauch the careers of new WB actors they had as guest-stars. :rolleyes:

It has been such a long time since I've watched Dawson's creek. All I remember about season 6 is that PJ kinda dated for 2 episodes before that bartender guy came back in town. DJ had an emotional relationship though. They've always had an emotional relationship even Joey was dating someone else or when Dawson was with Jen.

They've always played both sides of the triangle. Even when PJ slept together, Joey didn't even wanna tell Dawson which made the fans wonder who she really loved. This triangle was pretty messy. :nod:

I don't remember of any interviews as I was so young and I didn't even speak english at that time. :lol:

Sorry for losing it. I'm just extremely passionite about the D/J pairing, even to this day. The majority of my fic-writing was about it, and I could probably write a five-page post about missed opportunities as far as they're concerned. I'll defend that ship with my dying breath.

And yes: the 'bartender guy'. :lol: They pretty much used Chad Michael Murrey in the exact same roll the previous season, but he actually went somewhere afterwards. :lol: I sincerely hope they never pair Elena with random guest-stars to 'calm us down' or whatever they thought they were doing there.
