I didn't like the character John Ritter played either but John is one of my favorite actors. Plus he was married to the woman who played Casey before he died so that makes that episode better for me.
The "Wingless" episodes are good. I liked that Brian actually cared somewhat to save Sandpiper in them. __________________

^ Oh yeah! I completely forgot about that. And I love John too, one of my favorite comedic actors.
Yeah that was a pretty good story arc. Felt a little belated but still good otherwise. __________________

Yeah. I agree about the belatedness of their money troubles episodes. It sort of worked out in a preview of sorts for the finale but I'll wait to say more.

Do you have Hulu Plus Jen? That's how I rewatched it this year.

I was talking about disc rental, not streaming. I stopped paying for that service because they didn't have a lot of shows/movies online.

That's wise.
Finished the series a few nights ago. I had never seen the finale before, it was pretty good. It was nice to see Helen playing the Cello again. __________________

I'm glad you liked the finale. I was glad to see Helen get her dream for a while in it.
Would you like to know how I thought the finale was previewed earlier in the season now? __________________

I think the buyout from the guy in "Wingless" kind of previewed how Roy was going to buy out Joe had Brian not offered to step up in the end. I also think Brian carrying enough to save them when Cord messed up also showed he was willing to help when absolutely needed. He'd grown in the years that he was an almost halfway partner on the business. I like to imagine after the year Joe & Helen spent abroad, the business was running fine and maybe had even grown a bit.

^ Wow, I didn't even notice that but I think you're right. We also saw in an earlier season that Brian could run the business successfully. I think he'd be happy to see Joe back but he'd be able to keep things going as long as they were gone.
