I introduced my 4 year old goddaughter to the movie the other day. Never get bored of watching it.

the actress played that character so well. i've always related the parent trap to much similar to It takes two with mary-kate and ashley and they both had like a blonde haired young woman who was trying to marry to man! both woman who played those roles played the role so well. im pretty sure they both threatened boarding school too.

I think this might have been commented on, but does anyone else look back on the concept of the movie. Well not concept but for the fact that they divorced and lived in two different countries and each got one twin. And had no contact with the other? But anyone else find that a little horrifying? __________________

I can't imagine knowing I have a child out there I'm not allow to have contact with.
Not to mention if I found out my other parent was alive and kept away from me...that would make me think they didn't love me, want anything to do with me. Plus finding out I have a sibling/twin I would be pissed. __________________

deep meaning behind these kids movies. well im assuming the movie was based off the old old movie also called parent trap...so back then maybe these sort of notions were more possible and normal.
