The 90s - Once and Again (1999-2002) #1: Because we’re still waiting for season 3 to be released on DVD

I loved this show. "Once and Again" imo was one the most successful, but underrated shows of the 90s and early 2000s. This show like "One Tree Hill" and "7th Heaven" was one of those rare shows that really captured the essences of family struggles, re-building your life and teen romance angst and they did in a honest way that audience could related to. This show had amazing storylines, a great cast who gave such amazing performances and wonderful love stories too. I loved the love story between the two parents Lily and Rick, but I really loved the forbidden and angst romance storyline between Eli and Grace, from the very first episode I was hook on them and I was always rooting for them to get together. You could tell they had feelings for each other, but never act on them, which was a shame really, because the onscreen chemistry between Shane West and Julia Whelan was so amazing that every scene they had together left you wanting more. If the show would explore more relationship between Eli and Grace, then the show would have not gotten cancelled imo. Fans were patiently waiting for that relationship and the writers made a mistake in not putting them together soon. Other then that, the rest of the show was done amazingly. We need shows like "Once and Again" on T.V. again, because actually good and quality show unlike the crap they play on the air today.

I don't know of this show but feel like I may have seen an episode when I was young because I do remember watching Shane west in something ( as I had recognised him like I had seen him before while watching a walk to remember). And I also remember the random show also having Eli as it was first time I had heard that name.

How long did this show run for?

I didn't watch this show, but I remember that it was going to be cancelled and fans wrote in and were able to get more episodes on the air. It was nice that the fans rallied together and were heard.
