^ We already have the first three seasons so it almost feels like a waste to get the box-set, but we want the complete series. So I'll have to cave on that eventually.

Actually it's good if you have two copies. You never know when the series will go out print. You already have your backup copies for when the DVDs get worn out

Me either. the closest to that would be a dvd getting really scratched up and skpping or won't play like cds.

 I've had DVD's that I play often, get scratched over time, and freeze up while being played. I read somewhere that playing scratched DVD's/Blue Rays is also bad for the DVD or Blue Ray player and they stop working, but I haven't experienced this. |

The first blu ray player I bought I wished I read the reviews. It wouldn't play certain blu rays.
