It's a British Sci-Fi TV Show. I just got into it recently. It's about a man, who goes by "The Doctor" and he's a Time Lord. He travels through space and time to fight aliens, saves the world, etc. It started in 1963 and went until 1989. But it got picked up in 2005 and is still on. I started with the 2005 episodes.
 It's really good!  And there's been like, 11 Doctors, but they're the same person. He regenerates. So if an actor doesn't want to be a part of the show - he just regenerates into a "new" Doctor! So yeah, he was quoting Lion King in the season 2 premiere! It was cute. __________________

 Doctor: ...From the day they arrive on the planet, and blinking step into the sun. There is more to see than can ever be seen. More to do than - No hold on... Sorry, that's the 'Lion King'. But the point still stands.  __________________
