I’ll probably watch Before Midnight sometime within the next 2 weeks

before I tapped on the link you shared I thought the reason was because maybe she didn’t like the proposed story/script

I do think though that if the story/script is bad and they’re just making the movie to make money then she should turn it down

as much as I would love another one I dont really think it is necessary. I think they really told all that needed to be said in the 3 movies already. dont you think?

I haven’t seen the 3rd movie yet so I can’t agree definitively

will get back to you on that

but it seems like this is meant to be a 3 part story with a beginning, middle, and end

even the titles feel like that to me

I think since the couple is so popular, they want to continue making movies with them.

okay just finished watching Before Midnight for the first time

wow I’m officially done with this trilogy

I liked how Ethan Hawke looked in this movie the least

for me most to least favorite for how he looks goes in the order of the movies

don’t think there needs to be more stories told

this movie wraps it up pretty well

The best characters from Gen-X films
11. Jesse and Céline, "Before Sunrise"
It's not fair to pick between Jesse (Ethan Hawke) or Céline (Julie Delpy), so we went with both. They just might be the best Gen-X film couple in the annals of the genre. Audiences couldn't get enough of the pair, so director Richard Linklater made two more movies about them -- Before Sunset (2004) and Before Midnight (2013). Traveling was a big part of life for young Gen-Xers, but one didn't need such an experience to appreciate this great story and the time together these likable characters shared.
