Welcome To The Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey Movie Appreciation Thread!

The adventure begins when the loving owners of three irresistible pets (Chance, a fun-loving American bulldog pup;
Sassy, a hilarious Himalayan cat who lives up to her name; and Shadow, a wise old golden retriever) are forced to leave
them in the temporary care of a friend who lives hundreds of miles away. But after several days, the worried animals
begin to their family must be in trouble, so they decide to head for home. On their incredible journey across the ruggedly

It was just on today and I had to watch. I was seriously bawling so hard.

I cry everytime I see it at the end when Shadow can't get out of that big hole or whatever it was. And then they get home and Shadow comes running out of the woods.

Yes! He gets stuck and he tells Chance and Sassy to go home and so they do. And the little boy has Chance and the girl has Sassy and the older boy is waiting and waiting but Shadow isn't there, but then...you can see him, covered in dirt, hobbling home. He made it!

But besides the end, there's tons of funny parts. Sassy is so...sassy! She's so funny. Sally Field was a great choice for her voice.

Oh my god, I think I still have this movie (along with the Lost In San Francisco sequel) on VHS somehwere, I ADORED the film and seriously lost count of how many times I watched it. Please add me.

Sally Field was a great choice for her voice.
