There's a thread for the WB.
It was definitely a part of the 1990s, it shaped the 90s (and early 00s) pop culture. Please add me to the list. |

^ Welcome to the thread! I still miss the WB, the CW has been a disappointing replacement.

Thanks!
I agree, the CW is such a horrible, disappointing replacement for the WB! I understand the CW had a lot to live up to in the beginning, but it's as if it's not even trying. Supernatural is the only WB show still on and I don't even want to know how that's doing. 7th Heaven and One Tree Hill were ruined for me on the CW. Gilmore Girls was... I don't even know. Smallville, well, I began to get bored of it after the third season. But you really can't muck around with the fate of Superman, so I guess it doesn't count. |

I'm not much of a CW fan either. I remember seeing commercials for the series finales of 7th Heaven and One Tree Hill when the WB was in its last days, but then the CW brought it back.
Gilmore Girls got a little crazy during season 6 before the CW. A lot of elements fans loved about the show were undone. There were disagreements between the producer/writer and the WB so some people think that the producer was burned out or that she sabotaged the show on purpose. Whatever the reason, the show changed and left many fans unhappy. By the time the CW took over, the producer/writer had left and the new ones were left trying to repair the story lines from the previous season. |

I knew 7th Heaven was supposed to end before it did but I never heard that about OTH and I was watching the show at the time.
Most CW shows I've watched were ones that started with the WB (Smallville, OTH, Gilmore Girls). I did watch Ringer for the one season it was on. And I also watch BatB and Reign right now. Tried to watch Secret Circle but I didn't like it. Can't remember what other CW's I've watched atm. __________________

Until CW came around, I had to wait till OTH was released on dvd. Which was s5? Or was it s4?
But I thought it would end at s4. This girl I worked with at the time loved OTH too, and she said they could skip ahead (which is what they did), and she mentioned another show did that but I can't remember what show she mentioned. __________________

^ Season four was the first season OTH was on the CW. At the time, I thought the show would end there but obviously it didn't.
