I liked "The Prom" more on my rewatch this time than I did in the past. I didn't really care for the episode that much before, but I love the moment when Jonathan gives Buffy that "Class Protector" gift. I also thought at the end when Angel showed up and danced with Buffy was such a sweet ending to the episode.

Ooohhh the prom has always been in my top 10 Buffy episodes ever since I finished the series for the first time

Glad you liked it more in your most recent re-watch

The class protector scene will never not make me emotional

And the music score makes it even more so

I love how Buffy got to shine in that moment and how everyone was showing their appreciation for everything
