It's still one of their strongest episode when it comes to remembering hard times, and honouring heroes...

Yep, season2 was Probie-season... plus Ari coming & going, and having a fixation on Kate, even if that is the wrong word to use---
... case wise I only recall the Medal of Honor episode though... __________________

I remember the case with the blind little girl (Abigail Breslin I think played the role) who used her excellent hearing to help them to find her mother. That was a stand out to me.

Same here.
I just couldn't recall whether that episode was in S1 or S2 - but it had McGee in it, which makes it into s2... The young actress was spot on as the blind girl... __________________
