thanks for the thread.

Sounds interesting, but poor Phineas - another involvement with the law of someone he is supposed to trust. I hope his uncle didn't do anything. The boy needs a break.

Phineas :sigh: & Karri Turner will be back as well as "the aunt"...

Thanks for the thread

This was a great episode!

Phinneas was finally able to do the one thing no one before, except for the journalist, was able to do... And made Gibbs talk about himself...

Jasper1975 05-12-2021 06:17 PM

All that action for a matter if they just put the offer out in the right channels. Little Phin would have been willing to help.

Interesting that a kid is the person to get Gibbs to talk, and ask all the questions fans have. Like how the boats get out of the basement...

Unseen Improvements indeed. Quite the addition to Gibbs's house.

Gibbs being a Dad to Lucy was quite a fun experience. To see how she reacted to Phin was perfect.

And the way to get a Ducky cameo perfect.

And boy they liked to keep us on the edge with Nick and Ellie acknowledgement, and then talking about Ellie's changes. What exactly was said?

maplezbear 05-13-2021 10:35 AM

Agreed with everything you said ^^

Also thought it was funny the bad guy was wondering how Gibbs gets the boat out as well :rotfl: They need to tell us one day.

florerr 05-13-2021 01:37 PM

The boat... :rotfl:

Palmer & Kasie gossiping/speculating about Nick & Ellie was fun to watch too, especially with McGee being completely out of the loop... I can already see him telling everyone that "he didn't see it coming :P "

Nothing was really said about Ellie & Nick. Also, we didn't get any answers about Ellie making some changes... Also we haven't heard about Odette in a year's time, so who knows maybe Bishop is still thinking about her offer too? :look:

And of course the elevator closed before we heard anything major from "the talk"...

maplezbear 05-15-2021 07:01 AM

I didn't even think about McGee not being in the loop
True about Odette, I completely forgot about her.
Agreed about everything else.

Jasper1975 05-15-2021 11:54 AM

Given the the way they set up this season up. Yeah, it would be natural to forget about that part of the story with Odette and Ellie. But glad it got a nod, so obviously she is still doing her training LOL.

Tim does tend to be on the oblivious train of interpersonal romance. He never saw it with Tony and Ziva, even when it was pretty blatant LOL.

Although it did seem he saw the signs of Gibbs and Jack.

I am still mystified how he gets the boats out of the basement. From what we see, it's the basement and walls on all sides, so it's not like it has a garage door or something, or maybe if there is side we do not see, but it would not mystify everyone.

And it's not like he can take the the boat up those stairs.

florerr 05-15-2021 03:05 PM

Tim isn't stupid just oblivious when it comes to others personal life as long as it doesn't have any affect on his life

The boat :lmao: He gets out the boat, because it's a studio :P

Yeah, this season had a weird setup, but also refreshing...

maplezbear 05-15-2021 06:00 PM

 That is true about Tim

Unless he has some secret garage door that is so well hidden :rotfl:

Agreed Hanna

I think that it would be interesting to try & work out the timelines of s17 & s18... :look:

shinebrighterxx 05-21-2021 12:06 AM

It will  I think it'll only be obvious with the one episode where things sit though. But we might be able to guess other things

florerr 05-21-2021 02:05 PM

Exactly.

I would love to try to put the puzzle together, even if it will be challenging to do so... :P
