Thanks for the thread.

The 2nd part sounds almost more interesting than the first one.

Definitely a lot of insight into Jessica. We meet her sister.

Sad for the sister, to know she was used.

Nice scene with McGee and Jimmy, talking about the loss of Breena, and how it has thawed things with his in-laws. Bittersweet is right, that it took such a loss.

Poor Kasie. She has a lot of bad luck.

Agree with everything.

It is a weird relationship between Jessica and her sister. Bringing Kasie along hadn't really helped to keep the arguments at bay. Very sad. Hope things will get better between them from now on. Doubt it though.

Yeah, it was very tense between sisters. Jessica has mentioned in the past. She had issues with her mother. So, it sounds like it might be rooted in the divorce.

Yeah, having Kasie was not that much of a buffer.

While Jessica was weirded out that he knew so much of her job. Usually, it's a clear sign to the agents that something is up, seriously wrong because they never tell people about their jobs. It should have been a serious tip off, even if the job that was more pressing was her old job.

In the beginning it to me it looked like Jessica had thought her sister had told him about her job despite everything and he was just interested, but later on it was weird that she didn't pick up on the fact that something was off.

Jessica's sister is an idiot. To be engaged to someone you have known for two weeks is stupid.

Jessica should not have had Kasie there. She was no help.

The scene with Jimmy and McGee was very nice.

Although there are cases of instant love. But yeah, in this case. It was obvious there was warning signs and she should have been more careful.

Obviously, the bickering twosome was a plot device to have the guy to start to lose it even more than he was because he could not handle the conflict.

I can see Jessica thinking it was best to have a buffer. But obvously, she and her sister just could not deal with it, because it had been while since they had seen each other. So, obviously, they were a ticking time bomb.

Poor Kasie.

She loves the job, but it has put her in peril quite often.

Normally I'll jot down comments while watching but going to do an overall comment instead this time around...

It is nice to see Jessica's past live as a REACT agent come up again & show the cost of when it goes wrong to the people in that person's life. Sneaky guy to find ways to get to her using her sister too. But this episode felt a little too flat & predictable. There was too much focus on the sisters fighting & thanksgiving meal. Obviously something was going to go wrong there. I could've yelled at my TV when Jessica not just put her phone in the bucket but turned it off. Foolish & she had every right to keep her phone at least on in case her work needed her. But also predictable that something bad would happen to it.

It was a good episode, & Jessica did well to try talk the guy down.

Poor Kasie getting held hostage again

I thought Kasie did a decent job of trying to be a buffer & support for her friend. Nothing was going to work for those two as they didn't communicate, & automatically jumped to the bickering. At least the sisters may have been bonding a little bit in the end. Maybe

Something I just learned - Diona Reasonover was one of the writers on this episode. She wrote it with Scott Williams. I knew Brian wrote an episode this season, but not Diona

Wow! that's peetty cool...

... also I'm pretty sure that this is one of the last episodez I've seen from this season.

This is the one with Jess & her other sister, and the boyfriend who only wants to hurt Jessica.
Because she couldn't save someone years ago...

It was a well-written episode, I think we need Diona to write more episodes as well

Yeah that's the episode. I forgot you haven't seen much of the season yet

It was well written I hope she writes more too. Maybe we'll get her & Brian to write together one day?

That would be amazing to have their talent for writing shared in an episode, which could be directed by Rocky just to top it...

Today I ended up watching 2 episodes, still have 8 or 9 episodes from the season but until January I still have time

Yes. That needs to happen!

There's some great moments towards the end, does that motivate you to get through faster?
