Thanks for the thread!
I sort of lost what the previous episode was about, but I do want to know what happens next with Deeks... __________________

So seems like Hetty had already had it worked out for Deeks to be an agent, but just sent him off to FLETC anyway. I really liked how it was done and that he in fact is now an official agent.
I thought the younger version of Callen was played by one of his kids as well They did a good job at the casting! Sabitano was fun as usual Always fun when Kilbride is on! __________________

Sabatino & Killbride were great
Hetty likes to play tricks Poor Deeks thinking that he got kicked out of FLETC... __________________

Ah my favorite CIA trouble marker to look forward too for Sabatino
Be watching tomorrow where have 2 episodes now left Surprised it wasn't Chris' son considering they like to do that considering Sean being Mark's son and plays Younger!Gibbs still need to see where maybe fact that Sean is a grown man and is an actor it seems though I know other shows that the actors do use their own kids [wasn't it JJ from Criminal Minds being actress's real kid?] - Oh interesting that its same type of situation of a Younger!Callen at the same age that Sean would have been when he played Younger!Gibbs didn't know that Chris's kids would be that old yet to consider it may have been younger version of CallenGood thing didn't watch 12x08 last night considering it was a cliffhanger - Interesting opening scene with Roundtree saving that homeless man, bit of "action sequence"2 big WTF drops to end the episode Anna not actually doing rebuilding and Sam's daughter __________________

Roundtree is crazy but glad he saved the guy. Crazy start of the ep. Was not ready for that straight after watching NCIS either . All emotion & then no break between the shows, just straight into action of LA
Callen wants to go see Anna while they're still working on a case? I don't get it... unless she was about to relocate somewhere according to what he knew & he wanted to get to her before she did Beale's position confuses me still . Wish we knew what was happening there... Sounds like he's there on orders from Hetty though so she's doing sneaky things from her unknown whereabouts place. Speaking of Hetty I wonder if they actually have any plans on how they're going to explain her absence/return once they can safely have her return to work Fatima & Roundtree interact well together. They make a good team to work together Sabatino & the woman in the store The Callen storyline doesn't really fit with the rest of the ep or show a lot. Just I guess that he had a love but walked away in trying to find his identity, & now he's got the identity so can have the love life. But we knew that without being shown it... I wonder if they really had Linda in the car or if that's fancy camera work. It looked off but not sure if that's just because they're making Hetty look younger... Deeks is an agent . Love that scene & what he said to Hetty & then Kensi about it Looks like they're setting up the coming eps with the final Callen & Sam scenes Quote:

Beale's position doesn't make any sense to me either... but I'm glad to see that he's still around... .shrug:
Fatima & Rountree are great together I'm sure that that was just some fancy camera work and they didn't have Linda at the car... I liked the Callen parallel, and the different YoungerCallen we got to see Yeah, it's been close to a month now without any answers to the ending... __________________

Its just weird. He doesn't need to be there but Hetty has asked him to come in & it all seemed to come out of nowhere. Maybe Barrett & Renee both wanted to cut back on their screentime so this was the answer to it?
Fatima & Roundtree bring in some new life to the show & a different dynamic & they're really working well together. They work well with the others too so they're a good addition to the show Yeah I doubt they had her in the car. Maybe they used old footage I didn't dislike the parallel it just didn't have any connection to the rest of the episode or make sense why Callen wasn't there. They just wanted to get him to see that Anna wasn't where he thought to set up for what is coming up. It obviously fit best here rather than in a later episode. Or maybe I'm forgetting some sort of setting up from the previous ep to explain him going? I don't think there was any though, he just was gone in this ep. Then the parallel is just two scenes so seems a bit odd & you need to think about it for a second. Or I was just really tired while watching it so it took me a second to see what they were saying with them. But I think that it is going to make more sense when looked at over a few episodes instead of just looking at it in the context of this episode It is almost a month . This aired on Jan 17 & the next ep airs on Feb 14 __________________

They probably wanted to cut back on their hours, focus more on theatre side projects, I guess...
I sort of have the feeling that Callen was missing Anna for the past couple episodes, so it made sense to me... During the Christmas ep both Sam & the old friend said the same thing to him... If he finds the right person, he shouldn't let that person go... So I guess he was just following their advice Yeah, the flashbacks wouldn't have made much sense afterwards... __________________
