I liked the Bishop story-arch, even if it came out of the blue... Sort of...

But then again Bishop seems to be a rather private person, who wouldn't necessarily bring her personal decisions with her to the office... Unlike McGee for example

I get it, it just seemed a bit random. Then there was no other point of the cleaning out or lead up that I remember of Bishop making changes in her life before now. But the show is known for bringing in random side stories in episodes to set up other moments/stories

It's not like NCIS is not known about its random side-stories every now and then...
