Yesterday only seemed to reach 30 so that way something. Today is a lot cooler (around 23 I think). Weather is crazy

I started making Christmas cards. Made my first Z fold card, or attempted to . It didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to, but still a usable attempt. Still need to decorate it properly, but at least it can be usable even if it wasn't what I wanted . My fault for just looking at pictures & trying to figure out how to do what was in my head instead of following instructions on how to actually make that sort of a card too

Once we have a good enough group scene - probably from an after work BBQ...

It wasn't postponed... I had 2 hours of driving & learning how to do parallel parking correctly...

Chelle... That's funny about you going after your own head, but at least you made your first Z fold card

We had 17 degrees on Thursday & Friday, but now it's supposed to turn colder for good... Or at least until spring...

I have no idea what a z card is, I will have to look it up though Nice you made your first one Chelle!

Hopefully your lesson was good Hanna. Parallel parking does suck. Is it mandatory for you over there to learn?

Glad it wasn't postponed . Parking practice isn't the most fun. That reminds me I need to practice some angle/reverse angle parking... I should mentioned that to my instructor...

I am not good at instruction following, much better to try make what is in my head to work . Or at least more fun for me, even if it is also a little frustration when it doesn't work out

Steph here is an example of a Z fold card. Basically the card instead of being a normal two sided card that opens like a book, it has a third side which makes it more pop-out.

My second youngest niece is learning how to walk, and she gets so excited, whenever she "goes somewhere" with my sis...

Steph, unfortunately it is mandatory... My instructor wanted to scare me with the most difficult parking... He somewhat succeeded...

Hm, angle/reverse parking doesn't sound too nice either ..

The Z-card looks neat, I'm sure that yours looks nice, even if you didn't follow all the instructions

I'm off to sleep now, it's going to be Monday again - the first Monday officially at the new warehouse It feels like the end of an era, as I've grown attached to the ran-down warehouse... It will take some days to get used to the new building...

Sorry to hear parallel parking is mandatory for you Hanna. I am lucky that where I live that was not mandatory. The only way I can do a good job parallel parking is if there are two spots and I can use both to pull into just one Otherwise it would tame me a dozen tries probably.

Hopefully it doesn't take you long to get used to your new warehouse

I can reverse parallel park. Don't really like parallel parking where you just drive straight into the spot. Don't want to try that with a car on either side. Then again don't think I like the idea of doing reverse with a car behind either If only I could drive without other cars around me at all times

That is true about parking Chelle.

Driving straight into parallel parking spots is about what you have to do down here where I am in the areas they have spots like that because if you don't and you try to do the reverse, someone will just whip right in and take the spot or there is a ton of traffic built up behind you. It is crazy

Today I couldn't login at all today, ended up working in the warehouse, sorting the boxes & whatnot... Everything is running, but we need to ask IT-US to give access to everything again... Something like that

Driving without any cars nearby would be wonderful

I will get there, it just takes practice to get used to the parking, and to not confuse where to steer & when, while also keeping track of the clutch & break...

Oh useful Hanna At least there were other things to do. Hope you don't have a lot of backlog to catch up on once you all can login again . Hopefully that'll be sorted for you tomorrow too

Practice will help it is confusing at times, too many things to pay attention to & remember


My TV is being strange atm. It is telling me there is no signal but I am also able to watch the news so there clearly is a signal
Another stupid thing - LA isn't airing here tonight because of a horse race which already happened earlier this afternoon. Instead they're playing a movie about a horse race (I think it has a connection to the race from today). I know it is supposedly the race that stops the nation but that is just crazy to not air normal programming hours after the race is over

It's getting there... Now it's only the server, with most of our files, is the one that should be up & running... And the printer is not yet working, small things... But getting there... It almost feels like a workplace...

Aussie television scheduling once again...


Yeah, and it doesn't help that I like to overthink things in the first place... But I'll get there...
