Yeah it more covered the season, but no surprise. They probably haven't actually decided what they're doing yet for next season. Plus they could be waiting for what Linda wants to do or can do before deciding on what & when to do their plans for Hetty

9 Burning Questions for ‘NCIS,’ ‘LA’ & ‘Hawai’i’ Next Season

Mainly only contains spoilers for anyone who has not finished watching the previous seasons. Mostly just speculation on where things could go next for a few storylines in the upcoming seasons. Does have showrunner comments confirming things that they hope to be able to do.

LA questions involve Hetty, Kessler, Callen / Anna relationship

An older article from May: ‘NCIS: LA’ Boss on Hetty’s Mission & the Kessler Threat (that has further speculation/possible spoilers on future storylines)

It would be nice to close the Kessler case, and to know where Hetty has disappeared... However, i don't like the sound of Callen & Anna getting dragged ou lt due to wanting different things :pout:

I couldn't work out what they're implying there. Are they done dragging things out now or are they going to find a new reason to? I also wonder if the 'dragging out' is simply Callen solving things/resolving things with Hetty then he can move on with Anna. Which hopefully won't take too long. They've dragged the Hetty thing out long enough.

... unfortunately, LA is "the king" of dragging out storylines, so we may not get to the end of the Hetty/Callen & Anna drama before the mid season... :look:

We've had a lot of dragging out already though :bawl: I'm hoping they're done with the dragging too far

Not to mention, too many arcs are never being completed and never updated much outside of vague references. (ie, Hetty's missions, the stalker...). This is stuff we want to see and hear about, not 1 reference every few episodes or never at all. The Katya/baby woes stuff got old, and quite ridiculous really fast!

Exactly. It is ok to drag some things out & they have been good at picking some things up later. But other things drag that little too much. I really hope that whenever Linda is available again they can just get her storyline over & done with & have no more dragging things out for that one

Kensi's stalker on the other hand I think is one which works dragged out a bit. I can picture Kessler waiting things out, calculating when is best to strike & even enjoying knowing that there's a part of her looking over her shoulder waiting for his next move. But some closure again now would be good
