NCIS LA Spoilers

Any NCIS: Los Angeles news? Especially about Callen and Anna?
As part of our in-depth Fall Preview Q&A, showrunner Scott Gemmill said that Callen is “still romantically involved with Anna and thinking about how their future might look.” And similarly, so are the writers. “We haven’t resolved how we want to end that. We have a few irons in the fire,” said Gemmill. “With those sort of relationships, sometimes we give ourselves some options, play out the season and see what feels right.”

NCIS: LA‘s Eric C. Olsen during a Q&A for CBS back in July said he would be writing an episode for Season 13. Can that be confirmed?
ECO will in fact write the coming season’s 19th episode — which will be directed by scene partner Daniela Ruah!

The first spoiler tag has to do with Callen & Anna. The second is just talking about ECO writing & Dani directing - no spoilers for the show itself. I've split the tags in case people want to pick & choose what they want to know.

Yeah it really sounds like they have no idea what they're doing with Callen & Anna. They're just going to keep dragging that out until they decide

When I read it I got excited. Sounds like the perfect mix. I do wonder if it'll be an episode featuring/focusing on their characters at all too. I'm really glad ECO is writing on an episode again . He was amazing before & it is great they're continuing to use his talent. Then it is great to know Dani has at least been booked for one episode to direct. Hopefully she's got her two that she wanted. But her directing ECO's vision is going to be interesting. I'm sure they'll have a lot of fun with that too.

Can they please give us a special feature next DVD release based on this episode ? Even if it is just ECO & Dani doing a episode commentary on the episode.

There is some speculation that a character may make a return/guest appearance, but nothing solid. Just speculation that it'd be nice to see X again & what it could mean for other characters.
