Man, it's been 9 years since I 1st started watching this show. I thought it was just another silly cop show that my mom was into, but I grew to love it over time (and had some help from Hetty).
I've had a lot of happy memories with this show, and some unhappy ones (like seeing how different this show feels without Hetty being at the helm, and some others), but I still love being nostalgic about the memories that I love. It'll be nice to see how everyone (especially Hetty) happily ends up, and to have a whole hour of incredible nostalgia afterwards. ![]() Last edited by Ladybird16; 05-19-2023 at 08:54 PM |

I feel like there are going to be a lot of things left unanswered or unresolved in this episode as there is too much to cover in just one episode.

It was rushed, as I expected. But I'm still happy, and actually kind of feel at peace here.
![]() O,M,G!!! That beautiful note Hetty left for Callen (and Linda herself reading it) had me welling up inside!! 😭😭💗 She really truly loves her family so much, and I just needed that kind of proof 1 last time. Seeing Nell and Nate again as part of Hetty's rescue squad was so neat! And I love how it ended with them going to look for her. Too early to start asking for a movie showing the rescue mission? I'm happy Densi finally got their baby. We all got something we really wanted here, and I like it. |

I'm going to miss this show... But we will always have 14 seasons to look back.
The final was everything I was expecting, and more... Neat solution with having the Hetty situation resolved, when Linda was clearly not available to becoming Hetty in person, but we had her voice... And we now know that everything between her & Callen has been resolved... __________________

Bubblegum the python? OK then
![]() ![]() & this is why Kilbride said what he said to Fatima & Roundtree... Kensi isn't good, she got lucky & has a team member who always has her back. But nothing new there ![]() Glad they wrapped up the Roundtree storyline with the racist cops. A nice ending for them even if there wasn't a trial. Arkady ![]() Interesting Callen contacted the others before asking Anna. But probably shows how well he knows her Poor worried Deeks. They did the scene well, I will say that much. Don't know how to feel about it... I won't rain on people's happiness The wedding ![]() It interesting that they end things in an opening for a new adventure... people can just presume they save Hetty. Who could doubt a team like that? |

The Bubblegum bit was something that only Deeks/ECO could have pulled off...
![]() And Arkady & Mama Deeks - I'm kind of grateful that we've only gotten a hint of them maybe happening... ![]() __________________

They did it well. A proper series finale, in that we got to see some closure, and a interesting ending. Given the show only had about a month before they shot the ending, after being cancelled. They had to rush, but they did it well.
Loved the news for Deeks and Kenzie. Often when you have someone not feeling well, you know what it's leading up. And because they had stopped wanting it. It comes when you have no expectations. They finally have everything. Loved the scene with Arkady and Deek's mother. And the horror on Deek's face as they flirted. I was surprised that was Anna's dress for the big wedding. She looked beautiful. But I expected something different. Loved how Callen was very happy. Finally, he has it all. And yet, is off doing what he does best. Nice to see Nell. A worthy finale. __________________
