Sounds like an interesting episode.
Ncis cold case division... didn't even know about them... I'm happy that they are making sure to clean up the air between Kilbride & his son before the final as well __________________

Reading it made me wonder if that is a potential spin off idea tbh

If Kilbride can reconcile with Alex, then maybe it'll be a good sign for Hetty and Callen doing the same.

Chelle I also thought about the cold case division having the potential for a spin off... It could be interesting

It did have a feeling of a unofficial plant pilot type storyline. NCIS: Cold Case. And another website got the same feeling.
Liked the Cold Case lead. Did not feel like a LA case. More NCIS Mothership. But I guess since the show was actually around in 2003. You could not give it to them because why would the team in Washington not solve it. And Gibbs is now gone. The show is definitely ending, you could feel it. Kilbride got closure with his son. Which was needed. So, should we expect maybe in the next year, to hear of a new spinoff LOL. Definitely would fit the mode for the franchise. Interesting episode. __________________

NCIS: Cold Case could be interesting. I wonder if they will consider it
Daisy is a strong & fun character. Seems she works alone though so that wouldn't work so much for a show. She would need to keep getting help from various teams around the country which may be to many characters to start casting. I think this team got it because of location. That's it. Not their usual case but still a good ep. As you said, it may not work in Washington. They would have to say another team had worked the case & I feel the OG has done that a few times already. So a fresher idea for LA I like how they showcased how things are done now in contrast to 20 years ago. Especially having the younger team members looking at the case files & getting that hands on taste for what it was like. Nice to see everyone in the ep Deeks you may have a law degree & not want to dig through trash, but you are also really good at playing the role Why does Sam need a plus one for the wedding? Feels a bit like a silly way to get Sam & Callen doing their usual banter |

Especially yeah, the original NCIS has been around for years, since back in 2003. So we did see the team members having to look at old cases. One in particular when there was a power outage, and the all had to deal with the change in techniques.
Funny though to see Fatima and Roundtree eyes open to see having to deal with the boxes. Of course, it also was they had some manage to make through fire and water damage. Most of the time, I forget Deeks does have a law degree. It was silly humor for Sam and Callen about the wedding. I can see that now that he finally get married, he wants Sam to be happy. __________________

Yeah the OG has had that storyline too. Makes more sense to give it to LA where it is more fresh & doesn't raise questions.
I like that it wasn't just boxes & casefiles. They had that extra element which made it a little more of a challenge & different feeling It is strange though as they gave Sam a possible love interest then took that away but now want to give one or have Callen doing what Sam used to do to him? I just don't get the whole plus one storyline personally . He's going to your wedding, he'll be your best man, & he'll enjoy it. Leave him alone & just enjoy your day & the fact that you're getting married to the woman you love . But people who have happiness like to spread it around... so could just be that, using the wedding as an excuse |

I did not take it too as Callen was trying set Sam up or anything. It was amusing banter about the wedding, that is approaching. And showing that Callen is not leaving it all to Anna to figure out. And he is using it to poke at Sam.
