So, when the show premiered, I watched the pilot episode and wasn't a fan. So, I want to ask, does it get better over the course of the first season? I've been trying to decide if I want to try rewatching the pilot, and then continuing to watch. What was the good and bad of the first season?

For me -
The show may be better if you sit & watch it in one hit or in batches. It has highs & lows, but does take a bit to find its footing. I think it was doing better when it was fleshing out the characters a bit more, while also sharing around the focus. The team are good together, especially towards the end. I like the characters, but there is still something there for the show for me  . I've only seen the first ep of S2 so far though so maybe S2 is betterIt doesn't hurt to try again & see how you feel with a few episodes  __________________

I haven't got around to watching this show other than the pilot & first crossover episode...
I liked the cast in general, but couldn't connect... And after watching both H5O & Magnum PI (reboot) I had trouble with connecting with a new Hawai'i show... Haven't given a 2nd chance to Ncis Hawai'i since then... __________________

I like this cast, even if I haven't watched more than 3 episodes of the show so far.
