I can definitely see both sides. I don't want to go in knowing too much about the characters or plot but I like knowing a little here and there :D

I don't mind the visual promo, or the general plot, but need to stay away from the descriptions for now... :look:

Oh wow, I really like that promo! It shows a nice amount of character, good chemistry between the cast and of course, the scenery is wonderful. I'm very intrigued now :) I like it when they do a promo well to really hook you in!

For one, it looks like a different Hawaii series than the one I'm used to it, and it also has a completely different vibe than NOLA did... Which makes me happy, as I was hoping for a new, completely different NCIS team to watch :cool:

I think they must have worked quite hard to get the show to work in the franchise but still make it a new and fresh, different show. I appreciate that.

It is good that they've done that & made sure it also was unique compared to other Hawaii shows too :)

Definitely! It's a diverse enough place that it would be boring to see just a copy of an already existing show and a disservice to the setting to be wasted like that :nod:

true they try to do that with each show and one thing i appreciate with NO and will be with this show they will show more of the city vibe to like NO did a great way of introducing that side to the store with the people in French quarters the town etc Hawaii will do that to with the people the ethnicity and the island

Definitely that is so important! It's easy to take the simple route and make a show "Generic big city" but I just find incorporating things from the real life setting will be so much better and more interesting, always :D

What makes a show special is also the location, and how well they're able to represent the different sides of it...

The location really should be yet another character. NOLA captured that well & I hope Hawaii can do the same

Yes it really showcased the amazing views and vibe of the island, and I hope they will continue to be mindful of the culture and everything, Hawaii is such a special and unique place :sigh:
