I don't know what to make of that :look:. It feels very slow, yet there is action happening? Just confuses my brain

It looks like a decent promo, with just shots from the pilot episode...

Not too much is revealed, which is good... I prefer to have a slower promo than have everything major revealed in that 1.5 min of video footage :P

There is that, yes. I wasn't talking about/looking at that. It just was the pacing of the scenes vs the music

I don't know it didn't feel odd to me... :shrug:

I get what message they are trying to give with the video. It doesn't work for me. One thing I don't get is how some people can already judge the show & acting based on that clip. That seems unfair. Personally I found not enough time to think anything of anyone...

It looked like a pilot promo... I didn't draw any conclusions based on any of the characters..

... but then again the NCIS fandom tends to be also quick to judge... :blank:

Exactly. It looks like a well done one at that since it doesn't tell you everything or show you every scene.

Valid point there. There would also be some dismissing it straight off because of NOLA's cancellation probably.

Or just because of being angry with the other franchise shows... Emily leaving, characters dying or whatever else really :P

For me, if it manages to fill the void left by H5O or MacGyver, that's good enough...

NOLA is probably going to stay that truly unique show that people were either able to connect or not at all... :shrug:

But it has nothing to do with me liking Hawai'i or not...

No problem. I was actually looking for this thread and couldn't find it :rotfl: So posted it in the other one. That's the kind of week I have been having :lol:

I am not sure what to think of it. I will at least check out the first episode.

Or those things. There is always something. So silly too when all of that has nothing to do with a new show.

It wouldn't surprise me if Hawaii has been planned for a while, but then covid pushed it on a backburner. CBS just did poor timing with announcing things.

I don't have a void to fill & I don't think NOLA left one either. :lol: Sebastian & Tammy, sure, but not the show itself :look:...


I don't know how I feel about Hawaii, but not going to have an opinion without trying it either :)
