thanks for the thread
Still about the serial killer? Interesting. Still have to watch episode 3... |
I'm also behind with the new season...
I just want the serial killer episodes to be wrapped up soon... The serial killer, contract killer reminds of the guy from s15 who was Fornell's nemesis... And I hated him too... :pout: |
I haven't watched them but it does sound like this wrapping up is dragging over a few eps :look:

Figured out the guilty party pretty early in the story. He was already around.
And wow. Such a shocking ending. It been speculated since last year. But I thought it would have not been so soon. Love how they ended the mystery of the boat. And they answered it. |
Good episode. Not surprised though with what happened with Gibbs, but not as soon as it was.
The boat... I didn't buy that :look: How may boats has he build over the years and what did he do with them? Did he really break the wall each time to get them out? I find it hard to believe  But I am glad the mystery is solved and Torres with all his speculations  |
To me it'd make more sense if there was a secret door. But knowing Gibbs he easily could've knocked it down & repaired it again... it just would've been a lot of work (but he liked to keep himself busy!)
|
Yeah. I think they were implying that. Each time he would patch it up given how handy he was, and no one would be a wiser. Although is his house really that well situated that no one would notice 18 years of holes appearing, and then the wall gets patch up and no one being the wiser.
And yes, Torres being meta at saying all what the internet and fans have been thinking over the years. |
I thought about that as well but it's still odd
|
It was the easiest explanation. Given they did not have the time to really go into it. Whether it really made sense, that is debatable. But given how his house was situated, I cannot think of many other ways given he was being shown crafting substantial parts of the boat in the basement. Unlike that cabin he was building. And he was shown just the small elements.
|
Glad the case is over now and they can concentrate on something else.
Spoiler:
I think it is going to feel weird without Gibbs - if we don't hear from him at all - for a few episodes, but I think the team can manage. They still have a good chemistry and great actors. Quote:

It's not the best idea they came up with but I can buy it. No one saw him take out the boats. They all voiced their surprise to find it gone when they stopped by. And if he's handy, I can see where he would repair whatever type of hole he created to take it out. This time he went totally bonkers with a massive hole.
Is it totally believable probably nope. But given the structure of the house, and 19 years of mystery. They did not have much else except a fake wall. Although it was in a neighborhood, so would not the neighbors not notice. Although Torres said he had figured it out before he joined the team. Maybe others did too, and kept the guessing game going. |

Maybe it is just a little disappointing, because we had expected something more spectacular  |
