I did not think too much. Sounds like even if they are about 3. They are highly proficient. I found it humorous that McGee was telling Morgan not to take the computer in there... It was to show that the show was now in co-vid times, and to comment on the differences. Dealing with schooling. And then to drop the bomb about Breena, and how Palmer's mother is helping out with Victoria.

But then kids today are more proficient in technology than even 10 years ago... A very technology based world.

Multiple languages does seem a lot, yes . Unless it is necessary for their lives I don't think it is needed that young. Starting is fine (although still a lot if its more than 2) but not having to fully understand

I didn't think twice about that line, I just picked up on the 'homeschooling' line & was questioning if they were suggesting that the twins are older or if they simply meant preschool. Schooling systems are different in different countries (& via parental expectations), then how they reacted to covid is different.

In Australia our Prime Minister didn't want any schools to close. Some states ignored that & decided what was best for them was to shut. Childcare/preschool-type settings were not shut down. They remained open for children of essential workers, & then the Prime Minister introduced free childcare so all the children came back into care as if covid didn't exist anymore. Then, not that I have children, but schools in my state were probably only closed for a max 3 months. So for me the whole closing of schools & homeschooling, let alone preschools, is a foreign concept. On top of the fact that US-school systems is different to Australian ones. We don't even start the school year at the same time as the US. So for me that line is questionable as we don't start school until 5 & we didn't have learning from home all that much.

As for the line about the computer, it was funny. Children are growing up in a world where technology is heavily relied upon & around everywhere so they're going to understand it from an early age. Then it is McGee's child so I'd expect them to understand computers. I presume that covid keeping them home has forced children into knowing how to use technology too. I could discuss or judge technological use at a young age but that is going too far (I wrote a report on the impact of technology & if children in the early years should be exposed to it when I did my Diploma of Early Childhood Education)

In NL I know that as soon as the child turns 4, he or she is put into primary school...

Chelle It sounds like that you're quite passionate or at least knowledgeable about the subject

But yes, I can see on my oldest sister's children that they already so much about technology compared to how much my generation was exposed to computers/technology...

Sorry (you should see me if I start talking about inclusive education )

I'd be working with under 2's & they'd be able to use the iPads or at least know how to get the camera up & take a photo. Its crazy how much children so young already know about technology. But its just the nature of what they're growing up around compared to what past generations grew up with

I do not have any children in my immediate home. But I have seen with children within family events, how small toddler are very proficient in phone and other gadgets compared when I was a kid..

And plus with both McGee and Delilah very proficient in technology in their past, and profession. It does not strike me odd that the twins are already well informed, and maybe beyond their age group.

It fits perfectly that the twins are already into computers. Given their father especially.

They may have jumped the thick of covid, but they did do well with what they handled if I remember correctly

I don't remember it being a Torres episode though

Think to me felt like one with him "baby-sitting" the inmate while he was "supposedly" in danger from The Saints but turned out it was his ride of mentorship after being released from prison
