I was simply saying that the two characters are different so I think its easy to separate them in your mind. It doesn't feel like you're still watching Michael playing DiNozzo imo. So that helps I think in getting into the show & not seeing DiNozzo each time Michael is on screen __________________

I tend to forget to take out the "quote" part when opening a new thread...
Thanks for fixing it  I know that they are different characters.... It's just early on Jason Bull also had rules and liked to get called Boss if I recall correctly, and I couldn't separate him from NCIS... Even with the characters having nothing in common... ... But that was my impression after watching the first couple episodes of s1...  __________________

Michael's show, Bull is ending this season. I guess he was the one who chose to depart, and so CBS is putting a end to the series.

They can't continue the show without him so if he's left then he's left them with no choice but to cancel it. But the show also is one of their lowest rating shows so it was probably going to happen either way. To be honest it felt like it was coming to an end to me this season so far. It got a decent run which is nice
 Hopefully Michael can find a new & more challenging role soon I imagine now a whole lot of fans will push even more for his return to NCIS. It feels like a step backwards if he did though to me. Not necessarily a challenge either. A cameo could work though, but then really it should be Cote & Michael both appearing or at least a good explanation for one to appear & not the other __________________

Yeah, given the behind the scenes drama behind the show. It has been coming and this season has been one of massive change.
I cannot see him coming back to NCIS for anything than quick storyline. Similar to Cote. With Gibbs gone. Only Tim the link to the current life of NCIS. Unless say something happened to his father, and he comes back to the States to deal with it. Or a case involving Tali. Makes me wonder what he will do next given there is a lot of controversy attached to his name. __________________
