I guess they had a much lighter dynamic compared to the one with Ziva. I loved that team too, but enjoyed the change as well.

I do agree, they were lighter. The the dynamic now is different & lighter again. I feel they're more all equals in a way now? Not sure if we have a thread for the current team actually...

I've completely forgotten about both Dinozzo and McGee mentoring Ellie so much in s11 & s12. With teaching her the tricks of investigation and what to look out for, including all the movie references and Gibbs' mood indicators  They both played a great part at shaping her to be the agent she's today... __________________
