Further similarities:
- Mole storyline: 1) In NCIS with Michelle & 2) in LA: with the usual you forget about it by the time they pick it up again... - CIA cases: 1) JAG regularly had episodes dedicated to Harm & Mac helping out Webb with CIA cases 2) NCIS had Trent Kort as it's most famous CIA connection - they were more enemies than friends. 3) NCIS LA both has CIA cases with Sabatino & Callen used to be a CIA agent himself too - Re-use of the surname Palmer: 1) In JAG Palmer was the surname of a crazy psychopath who was after Rabb 2) NCIS has Jimmy Palmer  __________________

Two more similarities:
- Dinozzo & Kensi prefer to avoid children...  Dinozzo had a fear of small children which is mentioned over the years & in maybe 4x22 when Sam is looking for a sitter for his children Kensi tells him right away that she can't really stand children... - Also looking over the franchise Rabb, Gibbs & Callen are the best when it comes to handling younger children, even when it comes to talking them out of something insane / bad... Though over the years only Rabb has adopted a kid (I wonder what happened with him between JAG & NCIS LA ) __________________

Even Pride at least has a kid so could fit the mold a little bit... not sure if we've seen him interacting with children like the others... can't remember

True, but NOLA doesn't have that many cases with children... I can only recall one case from s1 where Brody played with the kid, but that's all...

I ended up re-watching LA 5x05 tonight... It's the One with the Motorcycle...
Anyways, Deeks & Torres share the love of motorcycling. Also in JAG Mac was the health conscious eater while Rabb & Budd ate everything, NCIS had Kate for that role (in the beginning)... And LA has Kensi & Sam when it comes to being healthy... __________________

NCIS also had Agent Lee for being health conscious but she was more reoccurring

True, and she was more memorable as a "mole" than for her eating habits...

I haven't seen much from the new season, but he's most definitely both...
One more for the similarities: - How romantic relationships are handled? Option A) dating, marrying & staying married... JAG: Bud & Harriett NCIS: Palmer & Breena, McGee & Delilah NCIS LA: Densi (even though it took them 9 years to get married...) Option B) Slow burn with the promise of settling down in the future. JAG: Harm & Mac - we're still waiting for the marrying part... (They are worse than Tiva... And that's saying something...) NCIS: Tiva - I don't think that I need to elaborate on that... NCIS LA: Nell & Eric - they have been on & off, but mostly off screen for years... Option C) Could have been, but never really happened... The script took a different turn... NCIS: McGee & Abby, Gibbs & Jenny (they never had a present time romance) NCIS LA: Nate & Rose - Rose hasn't been on the show since s4, I think... NOLA: Had Percy & LaSalle, but nothing happened nor it will happen with them... Option D) The one's with divorce... JAG: Chegwidden had at least 2 wives, I think over the show's run... NCIS: Gibbs' and his many wives after Sharon; Dinozzo Sr. after Tony's mom dying NOLA: Pride and his ex-wive and current girlfriend & I think Agent Hanna falls under that category too with her ex __________________
