Let's make it happen... I miss NOLA, and most of the cast...

I just met Linda again - forgot how good they were together with Pride, and also how much sense it actually made that things never went back to normal for them.
And of course Laurel was a highlight of the show even back in S1. ... I know that at some point the show's going to become "the Pride show" for a while, but not in s1... __________________

Watching SVU & I found Pride Didn't remember Scott Bakula appeared on the show. It would've been around 2 years before NOLA started

He did. His hair was a bit blonder I think
Nope, he was a bad guy. Well one of them. He cheated on his sick wife, got he woman pregnant but then forced her to give the baby up claiming it'd only be for a little while as he'd be with her & the baby once his wife died. He had his cousin fake adoption papers for another couple & they gave this baby to them but the couple thought it was a real adoption & that they'd had a surrogate. His daughter later kills the woman he'd had the affair with, but the mother confesses to protect the daughter. So, complicated episode . |

Sounds like it
But a complicated story always makes for the better svu episodes from my experience... It would have been hilarious though if CCH would have been the judge/defence attorney in that episode __________________

he was amazing as Pride
as much as it pains me to say in retrospect but the Pride-focus in NOLA gave the show that ground which made it ultimately stand out... ... wish he could appear in the franchise still in some ways It's a pity that CCH wasn't cast in that particular SVU ep... __________________

He was a strong character & it was a part of NOLA's personality/character. It just was hard to get through at times
