We have different definitions of 'a few' it seems. I meant a few as in still quite a lot of years. About Face is from S5, he joined the credits from the start of S10 so it was 5 years later. It was the episode right after his wedding episode so since Ducky's heart attack from that moment he really did take on more of a role & worked independently at times. So it was a fitting transition. But still crazy it took them that long to do it since he'd been on the show since the first season.

I thought that he was only added to the intro in s11, but if he was added start of s10 that's better. His wedding was an important milestone - even if we haven't seen much of it...

It was an epic journey and so beautiful. Santorini, Naxos, Athens, it was the trip of a lifetime.

Amazing food, and so much to see. The Parthenon was breathtaking. We were told the restoration is scheduled to be completed in about 5 years (not sure they’ll make it). Seeing a live orchestra perform at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus was a highlight, and seeing the birthplace of theatre at the Theatre of Dionysus was great for my soul. Naxos was our favorite place to lounge on the beach and dig into some summer reading. Santorini gave us amazing sunsets and the best meal of the trip. Thank you to all of the new friends we met along the way. Can’t wait to get back there!

Now back to work… eventually? Til then, I’ll be on the picket lines.
