I thought he did a good job too. I admit that I do want to see Barney with a bit more of a serious storyline soon though. While I will never get tired of seeing Barney (or NPH) do anything, I know some other people are started to get annoyed with the constant womanizing. I don't want Barney to start becoming too much of a one-note character. There will probably be some sort of a turn though in the second-half of the season.

I laughed so hard at this episode. It was fabulous. And I loved Neil's storyline. Also, I laughed harder than I should have at the Teddy Westside nickname.

I honestly think that they're ramping up Barney's crazy womanizing on purpose because they're going to bring us back to it with a serious storyline about the repercussions of things with Robin. I think he's overcompensating for feeling like he failed at the relationship thing, and Barney Stinson doesn't fail at things, so he's going even more girl hungry than ever to prove he's still awesome and not a failer.

I was thinking about that yesterday at work Rach, which was totally weird. I think the same thing is going to happen. I'm pretty sure Barney is just overcompensating for his feelings, and he doesn't even want to address them.
I think maybe something with Don might take him over the edge, which I'm actually kind of excited to see. |
